I want you to take a look at this picture:

It's probably an item effect.
Nearly all the new images showcase the new item effects, so the zombie items probably allow Wang to get up safely, or perhaps an extra 10% health back after KO. xD ------------------- | |

Maybe not 10% then, but perhaps back for an instant KO after a single hit.
Otherwise, it's probably an effect that allows him to rise up from a grounded position and dodge low attacks (He seems to be floating a bit as he rises). ------------------- | |

Yeah, he does float, but it doesnt seem high enough to dodge low attacks, but anyway, we will find about that eventually.

His zombie-like skin could just be a customization and the flying is probably part of a move.

Well you can see the whole 4 screens of this item-move at the site's screenshot section at that site, he used this thing to get up really fast.

With that much animation, I reckon getting up by techrolling is faster.
Unless he springs up really fast. But imo, it would look really disorienting. If Wang's meant to be scary like a zombie, I'd imagine his rise to be a little on the slow side. And there's no denying his feet aren't touching the ground, so imo, the move can dodge certain lows. However, it would be funny if it was an instant rising attack, where he rises forward and by doing so, sends anyone coming at him flying. xD ------------------- | |
