Yeah, as long as there are still some characters that you guys like, just ignore the ones that you don't like, and play the ones that you do.

It's not like there are some characters that absolutely suck, sure there are some characters that aren't that great, but the majority of them are tolerable. I reckon people just judge characters more on how they look rather than how good they actually are.
