Yeah, I wasn't too impressed by them either. I can't say I agree with Jack's new costume or Asuka's for that matter. The graphic on the preview were PS2 quality as best. So far this is turning out to be a real disappointment.

However, I'm sure namco will pull through and polish up the graphics and cast by the release date

It might not be too bad seeing a female Voldo.

Those costumes were customizations; at least Jack's were.

I'll wait for another trailer to start any judgement.

P.S. I don't like Voldo...

OOOO, ok, good. That's actually awesome customizability. Granted the person has horrible taste, but its still pretty cool.

Who, the Jack?

Both Asuka and Jack look horrible after customized, but its cool that so much customization is possible.

I thought Jack looked cool even though I hate him.

I hope customization is cheaper because in 5 it took forever to customize even 1 character.
I liked voldo in SC so a character like him will be cool.
Lee looks cool and if i may say so HOT. I hope they have more characters like him/her. I also hope they have some really awesome music to go with it like the poolside theme.

Tekken 5's customization was shit cheap compared to VF4's.

I think the Asuka and Jack outfits were alternate costumes. I don't see where people get the idea that it's a customized look, but I doubt customization would be that detailed. Some of the armor pieces on Jack are customized, but I doubt the whole costume is. Unless you guys have proof somewhere that this is the case, PLEASE don't state intarwebz rumors like they're proven facts.

Aren't they both pretty much the same?

In the Video it showed Asuka and Jack in their Tekken 5 costumes. It then changed their costumes to completely new ones. Either these are their new Tekken 6 costumes or it is customization. I'm leaning towards believeing the former.

Customizations usually have something to do with the costume they're for, and I can't really see the connection between Asuka's main T5 costume and a leopard shirt and red footwraps (or whatever those are). I guess none of this really matters, but I couldn't see Namco simply recycling both outfits for the characters from T5 (though I hope her cute schoolgirl outfit still makes it. ).

If they bring back both of Asuka's secret costumes, then they better have four costumes for each character.

They don't have to make it a secret costume or anything. Just an extra option, like Ling's. If Ling can have her schoolgirl outfit, then Asuka should have hers too. The Geisha outfit I don't really care about.

Personally, I like her new alternate costume. It's different, but in a good way, and she looks pretty hot in it. Jack's look seems to be inspired somewhat by the Gun Jack boss from Devil Within, which I figured would make it into Jack's next-gen design. It looks badass. Good choices so far.
