What fighting styles hasn't Tekken covered yet? |
|
Most characters in the series have their own unique fighting style. What fighting styles haven't been in Tekken yet that you'd like to see?

WTF is gymnastics fighting?
quote RikkuLoverCapoeira is fighting that was originally disgised as dancing so it counts sort of... There are still some martial arts Tekken hasn't covered, and there are some Namco can just make up (e.g. Jack-5, Kuma, Mishimas).

I don't think Judo or Akido have been covered yet. But there's so many variations of all the different styles that they're opetions are still pretty open. Just like Baek uses a more traditional Tae-kwon-do and Hworong uses a more modern variation they could do this with anything

quote RikkuLoverChinese Kenpo? Feng has that covered. Though in Tekken, all of of the fighting styles are overexaggerated.

Yeah Jiujitsu, and traditional Kendo. Yoshimitsu looks so stupid. Would be cooler if it was a real human being.

quote RikkuLoverDidn't Jin switch to a form of Karate in Tekken 4? But since there are many different types more of them could be used.

Jin is training karate, but jiujitsu and kendo...no one is traing Kendo. Yoshimitsu is trainig something but not Kendo. And I dont know of any charachter training Jijitsu. Paul is training judo and its very similiar to Jijitsu. But Jiujitsu is much rougher...and you are training kicks and punches in jiujitsu too...
