	Credit To IGN.com: We just want to inform you about this "News" from the german thq forums. Max Steller, head of THQ Germany's online team, recently posted a message about SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007 in the official German THQ forums Link according to which the PlayStation 3 version of the game is likely to be cancelled. The reason given is that the PS3 version would be delayed significantly and that the developers would like to concentrate on the three remaining platforms therefore. Nevertheless, future iterations of the SmackDown! series are to be released on the PlayStation 3. We have been trying to get an official response from THQ for the last days, but we did not have success yet. 	To be honest, I can't see the PS3 version getting cancelled, I don't know if it's me but I don't find the sources to be all that believable, they look far to unprofessional, that and I can't read German. The game would virtually be a launch title for the PS3 if it is released on it's scheduled date, this would present a great chance to sell the PS3 as the Smackdown series is one of the bigger titles every year. A delay is always possible but I can't see a version getting cancelled, especially on on a next generation console. -------------------

	i just went onto the thq site and it has a smackdown section for 2007 but when u pick which system u want to read the game info for a system the ony choices are ps2, psp, and xbox 360 -------------------

	no big for u, but alot of others were going to get it for ps3 for sure, and now looking at the next gen graphics compared to the ps2 graphics it looks like the ps2 graphics got worst. i hate thq. cant make the deadline. what it cant come out a couple months later? -------------------

PS3 will have to wait until the holiday period in 2007 for its first Smackdown game. xD quote Eurogamer THQ has confirmed to Eurogamer that the next instalment in the WWE SmackDown series will not be appearing on PlayStation 3. "Consistent with our goal of delivering the highest quality content across all next-gen platforms, we have decided to postpone the debut of the SmackDown series on PlayStation 3 until the holiday 2007 timeframe." In other words, they're by no means abandoning the PS3 altogether. SmackDown 2008 will indeed be available for Sony's next-gen console when the game hits shops next year. 	microsoft is lucky to get a smackdown game cause all the other wrestling games suck. cant they just port the 360 version to the ps3. why say thyre delaying it for a year? its cancelled they just try to make everyone. feel better about it. delayed for 1 year wat kind of crap is that?
