I'm cheesed off about lack of multi-player... How long were the other metroid games? 12hr's seems like not much. And I will be playing Hyper Mode (although, I think you have to unlock it).

Yea I wish they did have online multiplayer. I have no idea why they didn't make this game online.

Because Metroid's concept doesn't fit in with multiplayer well. There are dozens of threads discussing the lack of online.

It take like 20 hours. Not 12. You must have been speeding through.

Here are some "achievements" you can do to lenghten the lifespan of this game:

-Get 100% of items
-Beat the game in Hypermode -difficulty
-Scan all Lore. The lores contain information about the story.
-Beat the game with a low percentage of items. I'm trying to beat the game with 300 energy and 10 missiles. Adds a lot of challenge.
-Beat the game with the lowest amount of items possible. With 200 energy and 5 missiles.
-Beat the game with low% items in hypermode.
-Beat the game low%, and when you're at the end, go on a long fetch quest to get all the items. It's kinda fun.
-Unlock all the extras. If you want to do this, your Wii has to be connected to the internet to exchange Friend Vouchers.

I'd estimate doing all this would take about 50 hours of total gameplay. Although, you'd have to be pretty damn dedicated if you want to.
