What the hell is wrong with this thing. I play in Hyper Mode And I just know its tickin me off on perpose. i can get to the just head part of him with like no corruption, and then it just sky rockets the second i enter that part. I was killin him so freakin bad and than BAM im dead. U start the battle off with a bar like this -----------------------. I got him down to this -. And then BAM... total corruption. I just cant beat him and see the ending and he is really starting to piss me off in this Hyper mode thing. Any of you that have beaten the crap out of him in Hyper mode, did you get pissed off at him and why is he so freakin easy in the normal mode, but so freakinly hard in Hyper mode. Also......... any tips?

I don't know... I have only beaten it on Normal mode. Maybe you can time everything you do? So that you get done like in a set time limit so that you won't get corrupted?

This is based on my experience on AU 313 on veteran, but it might help:

- Scavenge for Anti Phazon units, after beating Dark samus echoes or shooting the projectiles AU 313 sometimes shoots at you (remember, don't dodge, shoot), charge your beam and attract some Anti Phazon near you, you'll need all the Anti phazon you can get.
-Be prepared for that little thingy that comes out of those vents for a split second and goes back in, you could try to predict it's moves, which is a long shot, but you might hit it.
-If you want to shave some time off of the Dark Samus fight, an interesting fact is that you can distinguish the real Dark Samus between her Echoes by turning on the X Ray Visor,Dark Samus is the orange one. (Warning, if you try this, it'll be smart to do it very quickly, before DS starts dishing out more attacks)
- Make sure you use up as little of your phazon bar as possible with the Dark Samus fight, but this is probably just common sense.
- Use the rapid fire phazon charge beam as much as possible, it can dish out a lot of pain very quickly.
-If none of this helps, just keep trying, you'll get it eventually, and be thankful that this guy probably (I haven't faced AU 313 on hypermode difficulty yet) isn't anywhere near as boring or tedious as Mogenar. I hate that damn statue with a passion

don`t get hit with the purple laser thing it does seriously high damage !!!

Once i got up to the AU head on hypermode and i died there. really annoyed me. for this fight, you need to make sure that you dont get hit by his yellow laser attack. go right under him. use the radar to make sure that you're directly beneath him. when he spins on the ground, screw attacking into him wont work on hypermode (otherwise it would be a LOT easier). when the missile pod appears from beneath him, you need to already be close and with a Charge Shot ready. predict the pod appearing before it does. usually this is right after the spining attack or after his blue energy ball attack (when he recovers from stun). either way, have a charge shot ready when he stops spinning or after his stun wears off. your charge shot's beam needs to be consistently hitting the pod for the AU to be stunned. you should just barely be able to stun it. but be ready to Space Jump anyway if you dont do enough damage to the pod.



here's another tip. during the first fight with the AU (when its on a stalk and you had to shoot its tentacles), dont actually hit its yellow sockets at first. only shoot the tentacles and any Dark Echoes it spawns for Anti-Phazon units. once your Phazon is very low, THEN actually start fighting. until then, avoid hitting its sockets when they turn yellow. be very careful of his purple laser attack. one hit from it will cause HUGE damage, so watch out. constantly dash-strafe around it if you have to.
