Why videogames are ruining lives |
|
Videogames may run peoples lives such (as your selves). Im here to tell each and every one of you metroid freaks that there is a life outside your telvision sets. i dont respect the fact that you guys waste away typing about some chick who doesnt even exist. instead why not try socializing with REAL human beings. Im not trying to be a pessimist im only being a realist. In fact im actually giving good advice. This message is intended to the people who obsess over not only this metroid game but in videogames in general.
Sincerely Duncan Idaho

Congrats, an IP scan should reveal that you're the same person.
fyi, the people on the forum here are real people. Just because there's no physical interaction doesn't mean it's not socializing. This is a place for fans to get together and discuss the game, their likes and dislikes. If you don't like it, you can leave.

I can assure you most people here do have real lives outside of our video game hobby. I personally find it quite offensive that you would be stupid enough to buy into idiotic stereotypes in some rather pathetic attempt to garner some kind of attention on an internet forum for people to get together and discuss a mutual hobby that we find enjoyable.
As someone who also enjoys giving others advise, here is some for you to consider. Perhaps before trying to help someone by berating a hobby, you should first consider your position more carefully. Gaming is no more or less destructive than any other hobby. Playing in moderation provides and entertaining and often relaxing escape from the "real world", much like a good book or a piece of music. And much like other forms of media, including books, an excess of exposure can become unhealthy. I also find it interesting that you apparently believe the other people who post on something like an internet forum are not "REAL people", whom you can have valid and meaningful discussions with just as much as talking with someone face to face. Perhaps my post is really coming from some magical thinking computer, designed to trap a few unsuspecting souls into the foul, hell-like confines of video games. As to the topic of chosen discussion, I wasn't aware that each and every word spoken or typed needed to revolve around some Earth-shatteringly important topic. Apparently, normal people can't talk about things they mutually enjoy, especially fiction. So, no discussing novels, plays, movies, television, mythology, religion, or anything theoretical in nature. As for my final word of advice to you, Duncan Iowa, perhaps instead of doing so much "socializing with REAL human beings" you should look into spending some time with basic grammar lessons. quote Duncan Iowa So thanks for your "good advice", but perhaps you should look into correcting your own flaws before attempting to point out those in others. I should also mention that this post isn't directed solely at you, though the grammar thing you should really look into, but to all those who actually do think this way. It is obvious that you are simply someone crying out for attention in a rather pathetic way, and I certainly do pity you for it. However, there are far too many people in this world shallow enough to think in the way you posted, and they must be corrected for the sake of my own sanity. -------------------

WTF, maybe you have no life. Have you ever had a girlfriend? Why are you going to different sites telling people not to waste away with their lives on video games, if you your self are wasting all of your time on useless things like this. Why don't you try to get to know these people first huh? I myself DO NOT obsess over Metroid Prime. I play it, and talk about it here now and again. The last time I was here was in late 2007. I didn't waste my life. Unless I'm completely *bleep* or something, I'm pretty sure I have a girlfriend, I went to the beach today with my family, and I DONT go around on the internet trying to brainwash anyone there reading. Have you done any of those things? No? Yes, yes you have. #3 would be the correct answer you ass hole. And dont think anyone here at all would be even slightly changed by this crap, or that stupid stunt you pulled with the second username.
