Metroid Prime was an instant classic. Metroid Prime 2 was a good game, but nowhere near as amazing as the original.
The third, while not nearly as extensive as the first, made up for it with the point-and-shoot control scheme, where you simply aim the Wii-Mote and it does half the job for you. Since the first is being re-released onto the Wii, it should be a lot easier to compare them afterward. | |

The Soundtrack? Really? Wasn't the Dark World always the same? I liked Prime 1's a lot more by far. Aside from Torvus' second floor, it all seemed kind of... not great. It wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out from Metroid Prime at all, and the story felt 'really' lame.
