the only parts i want to stay out of this is a "dark world" concept and the item collecting part(keys,artifacts,hidden keys,octoliths,ect)

I wouldn't mind another item quest, as long as it is presented better than the artifact/keys quests found in Primes 1 and 2. I enjoyed finding the Chozo artifacts, but found the key quest far too similar, like it was added in just to make the game longer. I would like to see other collection quests, as long as they are presented in a bit more original way.

yeah.....the dark world was really annoying with the dammaging air(that made progress alot slower then it should have been) and all the backtracking.plus the whole "find the keys in the dark world" was too old style dungeon quest game-like for me

Actually, the damaging atmosphere of dark world caused me to play the game too fast. Instead of exploring each and every corner I could find, I was forced to keep to minuscule pockets of protection throughout most of the game, which seems to defeat the purpose of a Metroid game completely.

I liked the dark world. Exept the key finding and how slow you regain HP in the safe spots.

I liked the light world more. Only bad stuff happens in the dark world. :/ You knew if you went into the dark world that you'd be in for some trouble. The light beam worked on everything in there though.

i sortof didn't like the limited ammo.i know it was suppposed to make it a little more realistic,but it was anoyying getting ammo for one gun by using ammo of the other.

I am a bigger fan of the themed areas like brinstar or crateria or whatever. of course if they just have large well detailed areas who needs themes right?
The dark world seemed a little too much like the spirit world from the legacy of kain series. it is actually just a cheap way for the programmers to cut on production since most of the objects could just be copied. ------------------- Confuscious say "Elevator smell very different to midget" | |

Though given that you now have to design an area for dual functionality that will take into account how and when you're going to be passing through it, that offsets the ease a little.

no one knows for sure.we've heard its winter '07,but that could be in the begining or end of the year.hopefully they release the actual launch date and stick to it(instead of delaying in over and over like they did for LoZ:twilight princess)
