Meh. I'm going to get this game for my birthday (Nov. 15) and now I'm ticked because i have to wait for so freakin' long.

Meh, its not as big as the other Metroids for sure.

Yeah the lack of online is probably part of it. Also, people might actually be playing it instead of talking about it. I mean, I'm surprised I'm not playing now. Plus, the Metroid games have never been too popular in the US. Just look at the Hunters forum. It's not exactly overflowing.

more likely the mph forum isnt active because it is an older game. That game is only good for online anyways and the single player portion sux big hairy monkey bum. Not to mention it is only a metroid game because it has the name in the title and has samus in it.

This forum will pick up when more people are further into the game or done playing and begin discussing the inner workings of the metroid universe. it's been that way with all the other metroid forums

I'm rather iffy about a metroid movie.

While it would be cool and the sfx would no doubt be awesome, it also has the possibility of turing out horribly, like the Super Mario bros. movie.

Or good like Tomb Raider.

I was thinking terrible more like the Doom movie... now THAT was some serious awfulness. I hope it doesn't turn out like that.

A Metroid movie would be very hard to do since the games rely on your personal involvement... But I do imagine that the environmental and Sci-Fi effects would be pretty awesome.
