Oli wins 20-80 in gayness, like 45-55 or 60-40 Oli's favor in the actual MU.

I didn't believe it at first, but rly, camping makes naners almost unusable and we can't run in cuz his grab range is like, 3 times the size of Temple and New Pork combined. Oli is gay.

No people who secondary them. Plus they're characters that kinda require a deep knowledge about the character to play at such a high level.

For Olimars side I know that WC makes gimping him near impossible and if he powershields diddies naners he can sh-nair to grab it, then throw it down and camp behind it with his uber grab and pikmin spam.....

Oli has decent mobility, meaning he won't have much trouble with bananas. He has far more KO power than Diddy, more range, and as mentioned, camps better. Diddy can't pull off strings as easily as he does against characters like D3 or some other big and slow character.

It's not so much deep knowledge for Oli, he's pretty shallow for his meta game. Keep people away with grabs and smashes, and camp them to hell.

The problem that makes Oli so complicated is keeping track of the six little guys following you around. Each pikmin will give you the best results for each situation, so you need to remember when a purple is up so you can try and save yourself from being edgehogged, or when whites are up so you can toss them or grab with them and just proceed to pummel.

Blues have killer throw power, along with purple, yellows have good priority and some slightly disjointed hitboxes, and reds are best for aerials.

Yellow pikmin can also be thrown higher+farther and also have more hitstun, I think.

Most Oli's have strategies with their different pikmin and shiz that I just cannot debunk for the life of me. Then they're all "mans I saved my purple just for that", when I have no clue just what the difference between blue and purple really is.

Purples hit you when >B'd and have enough knockback to stagespike you if you're at a decent %. Other then that.....Purple has wtf Vertical KO potential. Blue is all horizontal and is generally left for throws, though it's okay for normal attacks too.

purple ones have knockback blue ones live in water there's mad shit for those stupid th8ngs but once you learn that the match up gets even easier. Know your options and your opponents options.

Purples would be SSSS Tier if they had the same range as the rest. Iirc, D3 goes down around 110% to a purple Usmash.

Purples plain rape at killing. They are good for Usmash for the most part, but they can do well with Dsmash, which gives them the same range as the rest of the carrots, and Dthrow and Uthrow kill rather well too.

Blues are just used for throws mainly. They kill with regular smashes pretty well, but Bthrow and Fthrow is where it's at.

But yeah, thats why Oli has just about the best KO power in the game. Wide variety of options, and pure power to them as well.
