I think the Advance Wars AT will have the Smash symbol, unless there's an Advance Wars stage. Notice on the stage select screen it shows the symbol, as well as the logo from the exact game the stage is based off of. That's why there's an Animal Crossing icon, for the stage.

I know the DS symbol might not be replacing, but if there is a character for it, I sincerely think it might be game and watch, considering he is mr handheld.

Advance Wars might get a symbol as well. However, I still firmly hold onto symbol = playable character.

Considering there is no rhyme or reason to the symbols yet, I doubt there has to be in the future.

Alright, Id say there has to be at least twenty five icons. Id hope for more, of course, but five columns, five rows seems very balanced.

It could easily be thirty, though. Five is a number of its own rules.

Sorry n00b question but what are 3rd party characters?

Third party characters are video game characters who's rights are owned by a company that does not make their own video game console. For example, Megaman is owned by CAPCOM. Since CAPCOM does not have its own system, or is in binding contracts with a specific system, Megaman is therefore third party.

And I believe Advance Wars will get the DS Symbol while Mr. Game and Watch keeps his, as it makes aboslutely no sense for him to have the DS Symbol, as was argued in the PC thread.

I must be only person who thinks we can get more icons there what we have here, surely there must be more stages like Smashville.

No, I also think that. We are constantly getting new ones, that has been my problem with this thread from the beginning, it leads people to think that there can be no more symbols (though it has been updated since we had 17 symbols, so you think by now that idea would catch on).
