I don't know. Made sense to me.

Given that the Nintendo Wars series has always been named after the console that the particular game was on.

Famicom Wars, Gameboy Wars, Super Famicom Wars, Advance Wars.

That's the only reason I'd tie Advance Wars to the DS symbol.

I agree with Insanity Prevails. Just because G&W already has his own unique symbol doesn't mean Advance Wars shouldn't get one. As far as we can tell right now, the DS symbol only represents the Pictochat stage, which makes perfect sense, as Pictochat is built directly into the DS. It doesn't make sense for anything else to be forced to use the DS symbol. And I don't see why the importance of stages is being demeaned - they have a selection screen, too, they could just as easily have their own symbols. I really would not be surprised in the least. I'll be more surprised, in fact, if another series was forced to use the DS symbol.

I believe symbol 12 will be G&W, and I'm hoping #19 will be Megaman, though there is nothing saying we won't have 5, 10, 20, or however many more symbols after #22, and he could just as easily be one of them. So, here's hoping we see a lot more symbols.

But some Advance Wars games were on the DS (I don't know why they never changed the name, although you might count Advance Wars: Dual Strike).

And to make this not sound like Napoleon's argument, there is a difference between any other game and Advance Wars. Advance Wars has, in the past, changed it's name depending on the title of the system it was on. They didn't for the DS but it still seems relevant considering it has for all of it's past renditions. The closes it has come to changing it's name for the DS was Advance Wars: Dual Strike, which I count. >.>

I cant really see what a DS character would be. As much as I want it to be true, even I had a hard time accepting my Game and Watch argument.

Jigglypuff is probably the most underrated character there is.

I could not use Jigglypuff's rest i sucked at it. I used Roy to kill 5 Wireframe people in Cruel Melee coz i couldnt use Jigglypuff so bad lol.
