I was playing online last night for the first time with no problems, but today I can't get it to connect to the game provider. My other online game, Resistance, works fine, as do the other online features. Is it just due to extreme load? ------------------- ![]() Starts Now!

I keep getting killed. Easily. I'll be standing there with an assault rifle putting whole clips into people and they'll barely lose a sliver of health. Then, they'll shoot me with a pistol and I'll die, regardless of full health/body armor. ------------------- Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

I think that the pistol is a better weapon in many cases, actually. I've managed to survive hails of machine-gun fire just by running around in circles like a headless chicken, and then taking a few well-placed headshots with the pistol. ------------------- ![]() Starts Now!

quote Grenade KingYou need to be pretty close to the other guy for the assault rifle to take affect I think. The pistol though is great to use I find. ------------------- In the year of our Lord 1314, patriots of Scotland, starving and outnumbered, charged the fields at Bannockburn. So to that effect, if I'm running around, and the guy down the street has the same assault rifle, then I should be fine? ------------------- Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

I actually seem to notice that sometimes I'll be raining bullets at some one and it seems I get hit one or two shots worth and I'm dead. I never could quite figure that out, although I think it's something about the game mechanic that says if you keep firing the barrel of the gun gets hot and your aim will go off? ------------------- Thank you, Aether.

There is a degree of luck in the firing, I've found. Sometimes I've auto-aimed from miles off with a really inaccurate gun, yet been lucky enough to score a head-shot with a stray bullet. Other times you're lucky if half of your bullets hit. It does provide an extra bit of realism in that you won't always fire in a straight and defined manner. ------------------- ![]() Starts Now!

man ok i recently just set up my online network and it works fine with COD 4, it works smooth but then i try GTA 4 and it says "lost connection to one or two players returning to single player" every damn time, i havent had a full online game with having that pop up or sometimes i dont even start the game it rigth away pops up. i read here that people are having this problem too, but has this been confirmed that its a server error because i dont want to think that it has something to do with my PS3 or the wireless network i have up. It works fine with COD 4. Man it better not be like that with MGO because that is the reason why i got online!!
