My map has a Club marked on it (North West Algonquin) but when I go there there's no yellow arrow to go inside and no doors that open. I can see clubbers outside milling about and smoking, but no obvious way in.

You can only use it for dates or taking mates out. Even when you do, you don't actually get to go inside. It acts much like a bar (the game skips everything that happens inside, and you exit drunk).
