Okay, I think we should have one of these for people to talk about their online experiences, exploits, cool facts and whatever.


I finished the game this afternoon. I was surprised that even though I got 100% completion that I didn't unlock any cool outfits, skins or other custom features to go online with like they had in LCS and VCS. No biggie, though, I am not into customizing and the default characters are fine by me.

Anyway, after I got my 100% I went online in quick matches. I went into a bunch of team deathmatches and they were a lot of fun. I was mostly abusing the crap out of people. I guess there are a lot of people who aren't particularly good at this game. I got into one match where all my teammates quit out on me and I ended up winning the match alone against three people.

Then I did one race in the Infernus and after like 15% of the first lap I was way ahead. It was absolutely ridiculous. Only the 2nd place driver was anywhere near me.

I actually started getting bored, so I waited for him to catch me. He passed me for a total of about 3 seconds and I took the lead again and beat him by a full second. He and I ended up lapping like 5 people.

Yeah i've noticed the majority of races online are populated by incompetent drivers who just dont offer any kind of challenge. Every now and then you'll come across someone who actually knows how to handle the cars and they'll give you a good race but not all that often. I'm not complaining, i'm happy as I usually take the winnings but most people are Sunday drivers or crash happy maniacs online.

LMAO I agree. I was watching the system scroll through various views of the other drivers after I finished and it was absolutely *bleep*ing hilarious. They were crashing into poles, walls, ped traffic. Hahaha After waiting for the 2nd place guy to catch up to make it a little more challenging, I almost ended up in second when this guy I lapped slammed into me like an idiot. But I recoverd and won.

A good challenge in online races is to try and get a quick lap time thats high up on the online leaderboards. I managed to get 7th quickest overall lap time on the 'Taxiing' course that runs through the airport. I'm determined to get first quickest though..........

How do you check online stats? I thought the online page in the Social Club was still under construction.

I play Bomb da Base multiplayer. My highest score on that was 8000 points on hard difficulty.


Im pretty good at online races. I like the mixture of vehicles you can use, Im rubbish at the helicopter races.

I personally love the co-op modes in this as you have to work as a team and don't have some nub ruin it ,like the other modes.

Also Cannonball run is the only decent race mode as that actually takes some skill to win.

@ChiroVette - The way to check the online statistics leaderboards is by going to Stats in single player mode then Network. I dont bother with that Social Club thing.........

I have a question: How do you host multiplayer games? I have tried quick Match and custom games but both of these options bring me into other people's games, where I can't choose the rules. When I try the Party option it puts me in a free roam location and I can't start a game unless people come in.

Can't I just set up a game that I want, with the parameters I want and people can join my lobby/game?

The only was i have become a host in a room is either by luck i when all the users have left the room.

If anyone else knows how plz tell us.

Yeah I don't think there is a way to host the game through setting a game up, its luck I have found to being a host. I managed to get my deathmatch rank in the top 4k today someone on neo has higher I rekon butim still proud of mine. I got a friend thats ranked 16 in deal breaker aswel
