re: You think Rockstar may be going back to the original GTA style with GTA V? |

Chiro, graphics are irrelevant in this case. Physics, sure but that's your only argument on realism in GTA4.
It's sad you're using graphics of all things to claim how realistic GTA4 is. And yet despite how poor SR graphics are, they're still much much higher than SA, yet I do not see you using that as a platform to call that game realistic. My point is trying to show you that SA, in terms of FEATURES(as in gameplay elements and not ridiculous graphics and physics) in counter point to most people arguing about playing pool/darts/bowling calling friends and watching TV as realism. This may be a difference of opinion as it's always is, but I do not consider graphics in any way a good supportive feature when speaking realism. Imo the only thing realistic of GTA4 is the physics which effects cars, characters movements like how slow Niko is. Which contributes to "living breathing city". Graphics should be left out of the equation in my honest opinion. When I speak realism, I mean what you can do within the game you call "rpg elements", as what I posted earlier with hair cuts and the like yet no one complained about them. whatever, this debate is pointless. I'll concede here knowing no matter how many points I make supporting my post earlier to ville's comment, neither you or anyone will agree or see where I'm coming from. So, to avoid any more arguments I'm out. ------------------- Welcome to Crisis Core forum Welcome to Bad Company 2 God of War 3 official forum community

Final Blade if you think that graphics are my only argument about realism you are even more dense and Froot Loopy than I thought you were. You are the ONLY person in this forum who could possibly manipulate and twist my entire realism argument into one resting solely on graphics.
You also obviously missed all of ROCKSTAR'S proud announcements about how GTA IV was going to embrace realism and how things in the game would be in there ONLY IF they were "believable" and realistic for the character. Furthermore, if you can't learn to have an intelligent debate without derailing a topic by concentrating on one stupid little side point (in this case graphics) then you aren't even worth speaking to. Try re-reading all the complaints about GTA IV, including mine, and you will find that NONE OF THEM are about the graphics. In fact, what most of us wanted was GTA IV graphics COMBINED with San Andreas and SR2 wackiness and over-the-top gameplay. ------------------- ![]() It's official. Which is why VC and SA have got to be revisited. I'm sure if they do wackiness will combine with other features that the PS2 Games never had like... Submarines? Rockets? Pornography in VC? Movie Making in SA? Who knows!

quote ChiroVetteI'm aware, thus why I constantly stated your only reason point for "realism" is the PHYSICS!!! It's funny, cause I could have sworn I stated this before...ah right here it is: quote Final BladeWhy do you think I find the inclusion of "graphics" in a realism debate to be out of place? It's not graphics that makes realism, which was my ENTIRE point. I never said graphics was your only argument. Maybe if you read I wouldn't have a problem trying to make a point to you. quote Final BladeYou dislike GTA4 cause of the game Physics of characters, car handling and the cop radius which makes it impossible to have that super powered high octane San Andreas power. Not graphics. Which was my point from the start. I don't see graphics having anything to do with realism. But the in game features in SA compared GTA4(which I and Master has touched on plenty of times) shows SA has more "realistic, irl" stuff than GTA4. While your dislike on GTA4 isn't limited to the physics and Cop Radius, it is the most used examples you put down. ------------------- Welcome to Crisis Core forum Welcome to Bad Company 2 God of War 3 official forum community

Yeah, Captain Obvious, it's the physics. But guess what? The entire game is based around the physics. If you DO NOT like the physics of a game (driving, character mechanics, mission ideas, lack of sides, perimeter wanted level, and on and on and on) then guess what, Froot Loop? You DO NOT like the game!
And for the record, YOU were the one accusing me of using graphics as my reason for saying the game is too realistic when I never had a problem with IV's graphics. Here: quote Final BladeMoron. quote Final BladeYeah, I'll believe that when I see it. ------------------- ![]() It's official. I have truly become a babysitter on Neo.
