I'm starting to think Rockstar might have animals in GTAIV. In Rockstars 2nd latest game, Bully, there are dogs, and you can kick them.

And horses from Gun, which can be ridden.

The scope for them in GTA IV is huge too. They could be used in so many different ways, from transport to sniffer animals.
And who says tey only need to be on land? Imagine hitting a bird in a plane and shredding it in a propeller, causing an emergency landing, or a shark attack from a Jet Ski while you're offland.

I hope they do bring in animals, and I'm about 90% sure they will to be honest.

I want animals in the game as well, but just like the other GTA games, dont u think animals in real life will become targets? I mean, a guy killed three cops from playin san andreas. If GTA4 has animals, they shouldnt overdo the amount of animals in the game, and what they do. It would still always be a great GTA game

We are only predators mate! One day we could be prey again! There is nothing wrong with killing animals because there is nothing wrong with them killing us.

Well there kind of is something wrong with them killing us. If any animal spontaneously attacks you, it is usually put down. That's not a sign that we condone it is it?

Its would be the same if a cat was hit by a dog! If the cat can fight dirtier then thats what it will do!

This is getting nowhere! All I said was that GAME MASTA should be a bit more opinionative and not put his foot down. If he thinks animals won't be included ok but trying to make official statements to prove he's right is a little over the top after doing it once or twice.
I thought we were meant to give opinions on uncertain topics like this!

Well yeah that's true, but we don't have to stick by any particular format for our posts. Basically we can say whatever we want here as long as it's following the forum rules and is on topic. Animals in GTA FTW!!! See?

You mean hunting? Yeah well if animals were in GTA then hunting would have to come into it too. I mean what would be the point in them being there if you can't kill them?
