I need to find a house!

Does anyone know a house big enough to store tons of items and that is a good area like a town or something?

I just started playing this game again too, in the first town your in Sayn Need or whatever, just a bit north near the coast is the body of a tax collector. Get the money and the forms and go talk to the guy who gave you your ID forms in the Census office.

In this quest you will fight a local and can take their house when their dead.

Containers are limited by weight so if you have particularly heavy items, like repair hammers, I suggest you just take them all into your inventory then drop as many as you want, it will stack them all as one item. Like one repair hammer that has like 33 hammers.

And check for for amazing resources... The Ultimate Elder Scrolls Page.

Be warned, though, that most containers in the game reset, and you'll lose anything that you put in it. You're actually much, much safer just leaving your items on the ground somewhere; NPCs can't pick your stuff up.

BUT be aware if you put too much in one pile it will collect into an "overflow bag" but not all of it will collect and it you have little stuff (of whatever importance) may be gone forever...

about the house join one of the 3 great houses and eventually you will be able to build your very own stronghold!!!!!

I like Shenks Shovel in Caldera. Three floors and you can fit quite a bit of stuff and display it nicely. Its right next to creeper and you have the mages guild to travel. None of the containers I put stuff in that place ever reset on me.

re: I need to find a house!

There's a manor in Balmora with 1 dark elf inside (not halalu manor). You can steal stuff right in front of him and he wont report or attack you. Clean out the house and sell all the junk and you've got yourself a 3 story house with plenty of tables, shelves, and containers. It even has 2 exits.

Well you could lockpick Vori's house in Balmora although it's not too big. It's what I used before I got Ravenloft (An awesome mod!)
