Well, post the weirdest event you have encountered while playing Morrowind,

Here is mine, Well i was walking in the Orodosal i think it's called (where you obtain Keening) and i felt really spooked and i heard a Dark Elves voice and when i turned around i saw a Dark Elf falling to the ground, Weird or what

while I was walking near sayda neen the insane bosmer falls from the sky , wierd , of course everybody knows that guy , he's the once that has the insane scrolls .

Yea, i like the bosmer who falls out the sky, but it would be more funny if he got impaled on a tree or smashed into a rock:_devil:

This was quite recently. I was walking up a mountain and I saw what looked like a shooting star or one of those planes that leaves a trail behind them. I was thinking "What the hell, I've never seen one of them before". And then as I got closer I noticed that it was just a tree coming into view and the shooting star had been the branch closest to me.

Wait, a dark elf fell out of the sky? Where?

near seyda neen. He was an enchanter who wrote the scrolls of icarian flight. If you noticed, Icarus was the greek god of flight or something. well basically it will increase acrobatics by 1000 and you will jump all the way to sheograd if you are not careful. keep some slowfall potions ready of aim for the water.

Icarius was not a greek god , he was a prisoner who was exiled to a small Island in the middle of the ocean with his son , he and his son started to pluck feathers from seaguls and mend them together with melted wax . When he and his son had completed the wings , they went soring out into the ocean , but his dad warned his son not to go to high or low , but his son was so dazzled by the clouds that he went higher and higher , but he was never to be seen again . His father on the other hand , greaved , but he did move on in time .

That's pretty close, but Icarus was the son, and his father, who made the wings, was Daedalus. As they flew away from the island (Crete), Icarus, ecstatic with the joy of flying, forgot the warnings of his father and flew too high. Flying too close to the sun, the sun melted the wax holding together his wings. Icarus then fell to his death in the sea below.

And so we have the spell for Icarian Flight in Morrowind. It is named that because if you are not careful, like Icarus was not careful, it will make you fly just like Icarus did -- going too high and falling to your death.

Give me credit , I read it in a childs book 7 years ago .
