boys, so quaint, so nieve,
quote rbmoney some women like a swift relationship, but most don't, most want to be able to build a foundation of trust and to where she can feel at ease with you. also (no offence) there is nothing wrong, with being her friend first, and quote on quote"She will never get with a guy who is her "friend" is a ten ton load of horse shit. get to know her before you do any thing drastic, because its during that time that you will discover, just how much ya'll can build a strong relationship on. p.s. and always keep in mind that a girl almost never knows just what she really wants, what she really want in a man is usualy what she least expects.

quote davedemonYeah, it ain't pleasant. quote davedemonI know EXACTLY what you mean. There is the risk of ruining HER reputation, but if anything ever could occur between you, who ever said everyone has to find out? Sometimes that makes a relationship even more exciting As for her being way out of your league (or at least, that's what I inferred), you would be surprised at what you could accomplish. Last year I asked out a girl who was way out of my league, and she said yes. Though, for the record, it didn't really work out... My next piece of advice is just to get to know her, see if you do have any chance with her. ------------------- "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" Well, my locker is next to hers. We like to talk a lot. So apparently she's an angel at school, at home though she's more of a trouble maker. So I'm making some progress. People don't really seem to care if I like her. She's nice, when I talk to her I just sit and listen. She's listens to me. So far no screw ups. Though she wasn't happy when I said she should put some shampoo in her horses hair. But that's not the point.
quote Caius CosadesThat's what I'm starting to think. I actually have a shot at getting a girl! Well, not that I couldn't get one before ------------------- Realizing is worth nothing if you don't change.

Sounds like you've actually got a chance.
One thing you need to remember over everything is that you NEVER say they should do something with their looks. No matter what, you have to pretend that they look brilliant. You want to compliment her. Not so much that you seem like a weirdo, but enough to keep her wondering. What you said about the lake... is it HER that you like, or the prospect of...getting to third base? And when it comes to having the same views on things, yes that can make things easier in the beginning, but if you both think the exact same thing it gets boring. Don't think of them as arguments, think of them as debates. Or discussions. And don't get too into it, stay calm and relaxed through them. She's not going to want to be with or stay with you if you always try to win them. You can always disagree. Even if you disagree on things, you can still make it work. I had a relatively successful relationship with an avid Christian girl, and I'm Wiccan (don't know what you've heard about it, but often people think it is Satanism, or related to Satanism. It isn't. I don't worship any devil. Not trying to sound prejudiced, but Wiccans are mainly discriminated against by Christians. Seriously, I'm not Satanic) Is it mainly you who likes her, or do heaps of the guys like her? ------------------- "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" No, not that many guys are into her. Most of the other guys have sexy blond girl friends, but I'm going for a quality girl. I'm the only boy who likes to talk to her. I mean, she doesn't really pay too much attention to people out side her class and there are only 3 boys in our class. The reason I think having the same views is important, is because how you view things affects your choices on many matters. I suppose that saying her horse need shampoo was rather blunt, but I don't need to say anything negative about her body, because it looks perfect. No, I don't know what Wiccans are. Never heard of them. For now I can't, and won't assume she is really into me, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hope it works.

good for you dave, girls love a good listener, it helps to build trust, and makes them feel interesting,
if you have a nice thing to say about her, tell her, but if your thinking of making up a lie to tell her don't, no matter how good you think it is, and even if she would like it, girls hate being lied to more than anything,(well almost). and keep in mind, o.k. not all girls are into having sex after prom, and if she says no, don't take that, for she doen't like you and don't pressure her, shes just not ready, if she likes you she will tell you. ------------------- ain't life a bitch?

I only have sex after I'm married, that's what my parents taught me and that's what I believe is right. But I'm all for making out anytime
