does anyone know what the point of "Malmus Grotto" is, all that i seen in there was mudcrabs, kollops, is there anything else thats hidden in there? (theres lots of weeds and water)

The grottos are just underwater caves. All I've ever found in them are kollops and an occasional dead adventurer. Someone else might have found one with something of worth but I have yet to find much of anything. I still explore them for the entertainment value though.

there are a couple grotto's that are home to some pretty decent loot, if you're looking for them.

visit the one off the coast of vivec named mudan you will be suprised once you reach the ending of the grotto

Hey i found a place with a dagoth dude in it that has nothing to do with the story so i was wondering why he was there,its northwest of vivec.

O yeah i found this one guys hut somewhere way north , ithink the place is called big-heads shack or something like that.

The very last place i can think of is empty dark ebony mine
that is around balmora somewhere i think its to the southeast. im not sure.

The hut on the island up north is part of a Daedric Quest. So it actually serves a purpose although not part of the main story.

yea. part of sheographs mission i think he will give it to you form ald sotha near vivec, but you will have to kill a giant netch bull with a magicail fork lol to get the spear of bitter mercy which i consider the best spear in the game.

As for the Empty Ebony mine, I've been trying to find it. Once you enter, a new discussion topic will come up with 3 Hlaalu Councilers, since you've 'rediscovered' it. One won't give you anything, One downstairs in the Haunted manor in Vivic will give you a choice between Some Daedric weapons, and the third gives you 2000 gold.(sorry I can only remember where one of them is;))
