When did you get Morrowind? |
|
I got Morrowind when my brother gave me his old computer. He had a lot of games on it, including MW. This was about... nearly four years ago. Since then I got a new HDD, meaning I had to try and transfer all the files over, which didn't work, so I didn't play MW for about six months. Then earlier this year I bought a whole new computer and got MW running, but I haven't played it in about two or three months because I got back into Oblivion. Although, I haven't played many computer games in the the past couple of weeks.
So yeah, got Morrowind mid to late 2005. ------------------- "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" "I'm a locksmith, and...I'm a locksmith."

I got it about 2 years ago. It was a present for my brother. But he never played it. He didn't even make it to Balmora

June of 2005. I've been playing on and off since then. Great game, and well worth the price.

re: When did you get Morrowind? |
quote davedemonSame. I think that Arena and Daggerfall were bigger (I don't really know, never played either). All the old games are massive because they focused on gameplay rather then graphics. Abe's Oddesee is an example of really long but crap graphics. HL Episode 2 is and example of short but good graphics. ------------------- "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" I also like the kind of games where there is an ultimate boss, or enemy, or set of armor. Then you can work up to the final boss or armor. When you beat it, you get satisfaction, something only such games can give.

Yeah, but you get there and it's like...ok, I worked my ass off to get here, what now? I guess I can...walk around...
Even if a game is linear, you want to be able to play it again and again and have it still be fun. Like the Half Life series. Can't wait for Episode Three... ------------------- "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" "I'm a locksmith, and...I'm a locksmith."

Yeah, Half Life never gets old, well, sort of. Eventually you get bored waiting for your house or building to be built.

What house?
Well, HL is a series of...currently seven games (Half Life, Half Life: Blue Shift, Half Life: Opposing Force, Half Life: Decay, Half Life Two, Half Life Two: Episode One and Half Life Two: Episode Two), I think. The first is set in the secret Black Mesa research facility in New Mexico, where you (main character) are part of a large disaster that occurs. The rest of the games are connected and the aftermath. I won't give away what happens in any of them, except that in Half Life (1) you have to try and escape the place and then...well, I won't give it away. ------------------- "Who are you, and how did you get in here?"
