can my character ever become a god?

technically, storywise... no... although, you can become a lot stronger than gods... so... the true answer would be yes... even though no one will worship you...

Nerevar is Azura's right-hand man. She is an actual God in Morrowind. Vivec, along with some others, are self-made man-gods which means they became "gods" through their own actions and are not actual gods. Your character can become more than they could ever wish to be. Taking Vivec out in a swipe or two is very enjoyable especially after you know the whole story. Afterall, one must question what it is that makes a god anyway. This is debatable and I will not start a controvesy but is it an important question one must ask oneself.

The tribunal are false gods

the Daedra are actual morrowind gods, but the temple shuns worshipping them as "evil"

Through time what is true and real will often become "sinful" and myth. A false religion is much easier to control than the real thing. After much time passes the truth becomes wrapped in a falsehood and then many blindly accept what they are told. Only by questioning what one is told will the truth be discovered. Truth cannot be hurt by questioning...falsehood, on the other hand, will be discovered and all that one previously believed in will be chalenged. The real questions are: Who is willing and diligent to find the truth? Will you be able to recognize the truth? Will you be able to accept the truth? How will you reconcile within your soul? Morrowind is a very good simulation to test these question.

Can you be a God? No, but becoming the coolest guy or chick in Morrowind, yes. You character does actually becomes more powerful than all others by killing Dagoth Ur.

Anyways, why become a god, has anyone seen the episode of "Futurama" when Bender becomes a God, everyone asks for miracles, but if I was God I'd kill, just to keep my woreshippers inline

im pretty much a god, but it gets old, so this is usually the point where i start a new game

There is a document, a scroll I think, that suggests that by using Sunder and Keening a certian way and then some additional "secret" method it is possible to become a god. Sadly in all of my travels I have never seen any other reference to the secret method. More importantly, Xenobird, has not mentioned that she has ever seen such a reference. Generally speaking, if Xenobird ain't seen it then its probably not there.

there is a book actually, i think its either egg of tim, divine metaphysics or annucundi(or something like that)
it doesn't actually have words-but there are two pictures.
one picture shows keening and sunder destroying the heart, the other picture shows keening and sunder doing something else to it-maybe what the dwemer did.
anyhow, ive only seen it once, in one of my earlier games, and i didn't really understand it at the time.
maybe you can do something with it?
just find all the books in dwemer ruins, raid the museam in Tel Vos, talk to Hasphaat(balmora fighters guild bottom level) and talk to Yagrum(coprisium)
could find something the rest of us didn't

ok i found it, it's "The Egg Of Time"
it definately shows you how to create a god, and how to destroy the god. I just cant figure it out!

i don't suppose anyone has been able to translate the Dwemer language shown on these pages???

hmmm I'll look for the Dwemer alphabet on google but I'm not sure I'll find it tho
