Though you can lvl. up a skill such as long blade twice as fast by just hackin' away at monsters .

I had lvl 100 strength when i got corprus. I took three days to get cured, so my strength is constantly at 103. I'm wondering if you could wait a long time so you could carry the hammer in the Mournhold artifact, museum place. The one that weighs 1000. My encumbrance is like, 515 I think.

I pumped my strength up to 500 and then I could carry many , many things .

With one of my characters, I did intentionally keep the Corprus Disease for a long time to pump up my Strength and Endurance to very high scores before being cured. It worked very well for me. The one problem I found, though, was that when my over-100 attributes were drained, like by a Greater Bonewalker, it was not possible to restore them to their prior level. Only when they were finally reduced back down to 100 could they restored after being drained. So, it was great while it lasted, but I couldn't keep the higher scores indefinitely.

You did not have spells I presume , I had restore spells , so then I could restore my attriubtes fairly quickly with a restoration of 100 .

I can't remember whether I was using spells, which I am sure I did have, or whether I was using potions, or maybe even temple shrines or cult altars. I typically use spells to restore attributes, but I also make use of restore potions, which I stockpile at my home base just for that purpose.

I don't think it would make any difference how you restore a drained attribute, when the attribute has been enhanced to a score over 100 only by corprus disease. Let me explain what I mean, and what I suspect is really happening.

When you have enchanted items that fortify an attribute, and the attribute gets drained, you can remove those items and see that it is your base attribute score that has been lowered, while the fortification enchantment itself is still working at full strength and has not been affected by the attribute drain at all. The base attribute score and the fortification enchantment are two separate components that together add up to your "modified" attribute score. Of those two components, only the base attribute score is affected by attribute drains and attribute restorations. When your attribute is drained and then restored, you see the modified total score being lowered and then raised back to its former value, but it is only the base attribute score that is actually changing, while the fortification enchantment is remaining constant.

I am sure it works exactly the same way if you have used the Soul Trap glitch to permanently pump up an attribute score. The modified attribute score is still equal to your base attribute score plus the fortification enchantment, and when the attribute gets drained, it is not the fortification enchantment being lowered, but the base attribute score. When you restore the drained attribute, you are restoring the base attribute score, and that restoration will take the base attribute score back up to 100 (assuming that 100 was your base attribute score to begin with), but never above 100. It may look like you are restoring an attribute score that is above 100, but you aren't. You are raising your base attribute score back to 100, while the fortification enchantment being added to that base score is remaining constant.

With a corprus-enhanced attribute, it seems to be different. It is an enhanced attribute score, but there is no permanent effect that is pegging it to a certain value over your natural base value of 100, like a Fortify-type effect would. It is the base attribute score itself that is above 100, and it stays over 100 only until something lowers it to 100. At least that is the way it seemed to be working as I was experiencing it. The attribute was over 100 (I think I let them build up to about 150 before I cured the corprus), but whenever it got a few points knocked off, they were gone for good, until it got back down to 100. Once the base scores were back down to 100, any loss of points that dropped them below 100 could be restored back up to 100, but not above 100.

However , since I have 100% magicka resistance my attriubutes can never get drained . And no , I didn't cheat to get 100% magicka resistance .
