Well, some of there skills get buffed up and your stats raise by like 30

Yeah some of their abilities get raised. For example my Vampire got to jump from roof to roof and from the ground onto roofs. Thats about it, I didn't know how to get out of being a Vampire before, so turning into one was definetely not worth it for me.

You should save your game if you decide to be one, or maybe you know how to get out of being one.

If you want the Spellbreaker Shield or the Elton Brand you MUST become a vampire since only a vamp gets the quests which active the existance of these items. The extra quests are the only advantage I can see to doing the vamp quests.

When Zurn was a vamp he HATED it cause when he was traveling he always got caught with daybreak, he couldn't bulk sell to the crab merchant because he accidently forgot about the day light thing and KILLED himeself ( and with over 10000 health you can see a vamp REALLY can't stand sunlight...Makes me really appreciated the vamp in Vampire Hunter D's second movie when he got out he broad daylight to try and save his love! Aaah! Anyway...)

Even the clans hate you and call you a "mistake"! The other races are terrified of you and only a very few will actually talk to you. No strider service or boat service. The only way to heal your life is feeding on the clan's cattle. The vamp games are very glitchy and I could never get any of the the clan quests done and so I could never feed! So, be very careful with your health in case this happens to you. Oh, by the way, you don't have to do any of the clan quests to do the SpellBreaker and Elton Brand quests since these can be done by ANY clan member without the accomplishment of any clan quest.

ere's what I found

You receive a number of bonuses to your Attributes and Skills and other abilities when becoming a vampire, depending on which clan you are in. Your clan will be in the same bloodline as the vampire that bit you.

+20 to Strength, Willpower, and Speed
+30 to Sneak, Athletics, Acrobatics, Hand-to-Hand, Unarmored, Mysticism, Illusion, and Destruction
Immune to Paralysis and Common Disease
+50% Resistance to Normal Weapons
Vampire Touch spell, absorb health
Damage to sunlight
Levitate spell, long lasting, low cost
Berne Clan: +20 to Agility, additional +20 to Sneak, Unarmored, and Hand-to-Hand.
Berne Clan: Dwemer Animunculi spell which allowes me to Summon a Centurion Sphere for 120 Seconds
Aundae Clan: +20 to Short Blade, additional +20 to Willpower, Mysticism, and Destruction
Quarra Clan: +20 Blunt Weapon, additional +20 to Strength, Hand-to-Hand, and Heavy Armour
There is a downside, of course, to becoming a vampire to offset this lengthy bonus list. You do not regenerate health when you sleep (though fatigue and mana are unaffected). The only way to regain health is via the Vampire Touch spell you receive. Also, being a vampire and all, very few people will want to talk with you. Besides the Mage and Telvanni Guilds, everyone else will either shun you, or worse, try to kill you (including fast travel). Of course, this might ruin a good portion of the game for some people, so be wary of the disadvantages before committing to vampirism.

any way to cure your self from being a vamp

Well, you have to go through a long process which is in the forum links sticky thread... so go there...

Weird I thought you can regain your health with a potion or restore health spell. I must've run around during day time a couple of times, and I'm pretty sure I just drank a restore health potion to restore my health. I could be wrong though. I'm going to have to check out that thread too, how to get out of being a Vamp. Xenobird told me how once, but I'll check that thread again anyway.

Well, Zurn tried potions and resting but his health never improved...it could have been glitched but I thought that is why it was so important to be able to feed from the cattle. I'm not sure.

Wish I had my old save so I could check, but I had to get rid of it to make starting a new game fun again. I don't think I ever fed, I don't even know how I guess you have to cast some spell on the cattle or something. I walked around quite abit as a Vampire, and I must've taken some damage, so I would've had to do something to improve my health. I don't remember exactly either.

Maybe I can check on my game if I have the time, it isn't that hard to turn into a vamp. Then I'll just edit this message and write it here if the potion worked or not.
