Im on a pilgrimage for the temple, and im on the 4th pilgrimage where i have to go to the puzzle canal in the sewers of vivec, and i have to give a silver sword to something so i can clear the path to my next blessing. Does anyone know what im talking about, if so, i need help on how to do it! Im Confused!

the puzzle canal is reached through the palaces sewer system. in the level 3 sewer another grate can be fuond in the connecting corridor. the crossbar in the "H" layout of the sewer, this takes u into the actual sewer. climb the stairs in front of you when you resurface here and try to activate the shrine in front of you. you'll receive a message that says "breath the water of his glory." (translation drown urself). go down a nearby set of stairs into the water and let your breath run out and your health drop. just before u die go up 4 air. climb the stairs and look back 2 where u entered. a bridge now exists where none existed before. if u want u dont have 2 do the bridge thing and u can levitate. well once ur across the bridge climb the stairs beyone adn try 2 activate the shrine in front of u. when u try 2 activate the shrine u will learn that this spot is where vivec gave a silver longsword 2 daedra lord mehrunes dagon. u r expected 2 recreate the scene with krazzt (the dremora who stands beside the shrine). in the chest on ur left theres a silver longsword. take it and speak 2 krazzt and let him take the sword from u. activate the shrine again 2 complete the pilgrimage and receive a double blessing of day-long water breathing and swift swim spells.

i have neva tried this so it might not work. i got it out of a guidebook. sorry if its confusin.

It works. Just don't come up for air. Let yourself drown.

Actually, it will work if you get your health under 10.

Hey guys, thanks a grip for the help, im gettin really close to finishing my pilgrimage now, i really dont want to do ghost gate soon, ahhh well, i should survive it!

I'm stuck on the Puzzel cannel pilgrimage... what do you mean about ghostgate?

what part of the puzzle canal? all you do is enter puzzle canal 4 and drown yourself until you get under 10 health, a bridge will appear, go over it and into the room to find Krazzt, give him a silver longsword(if you haven't got one there are some in the chest next to him)

and ghostgate is east of Ald'ruhn, there is a pilgrimage after it, go through the gate at ghostgate and head north westish I think, you should come to a shrine

Go to the Vivec Temple sewers, and enter them from the 3rd Level grill. Look around, and you will find another grill. Go in, and drown yourself (Use a damage health spell on self if you have to, because it takes a long time if you have high health). After you get 'revived', go up to the Daedra and talk to him and give him a longsword (there are 3 in the chest next to him if you don't have one handy). Then read the Shrine, and the Quest is complete.

If you are doing the Ghostgate pilgrimage after this, go through the Ghostgate, and look east. You will see something that looks like a path, but it has a steep climb. Follow it, and soon you should see the shrine. If you go too far before going east, you will completely miss the pathway.

Here's a new one. I cast one of the soultrap glitch spells for water breathing on my self, not thinking ahead to this quest where you have to drown yourself. Any way to get out around drowning yourself or cancelling out the soultrap glitch spell of water breathing?

just cast a drain health spell on yourself, just make sure that you dont kill yourself accidentally, drain health 5-7 points should work maybe, i don't know for sure that you HAVE to go under water......

this is a THEORY it may not work, save before you try it
