If you leave Gnisis, then follow the Guar Trail around the mountains where it leads, you will eventually come across Din. He has been bitten by a slaugther fish and wants your help. Take him back to Gnisis, into the temple, then down the bottom to where the healer is. He gives you 30 gold.

In the Xbox version of Morrowind, has anyone else come across a dead body in a boat labelled 'Viciously clawed dead smuggler' or something? I think he's around Gnisis.

Yes. You will find him near the entrance to Palansour, which is a smugglers cave near Ald Velothi. There is a sorcerer inside the cave that you can rescue from some scamps and an ogrim in a Miscellaneous quest. Loot is decent and if you let the sorcerer go with his clothes on, you get a Reputation point. FYI-if you have a question, post a new thread. Don't bring up 2 year old threads in the future.
