re: Help needed.......

No. 100 is the max, UNLESS you use a special glitch...

Over 100 strength gets kind of daft though...

If I remember rightly, you must use a spell to drain your strength to 0. Then you can level it up. And then restore your strength, and it'll be over 100.

re: Help needed.......

Leveling stops at 100 normally. Another way to get your attributes above 100 is to enchant weapons, armor and/or items to Fortify Attribute and pick the attribute you wish to fortify.

re: Help needed.......

Sorry, this is a bit off topic but I don't know where else to get help or how to start a post here. I just started playing and I made a mage-type guy who majors in heavy armor. I bought some heavy armor but when I get hit, my unarmored skill goes up, not my heavy armor skill. Is this normal?????

re: Help needed.......

check the 'your characters' thread to get tips and hints on a good character...as for the mage with heavy armour, put heavy armour as a major skill and as for heavy armour skill not goin up...it takes around 36 hits/casts etc. or so for skills to go up so fight a scrib or somethin and jus let it hit ya, use health potions and such if ya health goes down too low

also ya unarmoured skill will level up quicker coz ya have more body parts unprotected by armour...for example: ya might have bought a heavy armour curaiss, that means, ya hands, arms, legs, thighs and head are unprotected...makin the unarmoured skill level quicker...if ya buy heavy armour for hands, head, legs, thighs and arms then ya heavy armour will level up quicker and unarmoired will level up slower

re: Help needed on attributes

This may sound stupid but you did equip the Heavy Armor, didn't you?

re: Help needed on attributes

Yup, I equipped it. And I found out that it is going up, though slowly. Shadowj was right about the unarmored going up faster and I've since bought some more heavy armor to get my heavy armor skill up faster. Thanks!

I do have one more question though. My AR is only 7 even though the sum of all my armor should put it at 50-something. I'm guessing this is because my heavy armor skill isn't very high yet, but I'd like to make sure.

re: Help needed on attributes

Your AR might be seven because you dont have all of the peices of Armor for that specific set or some parts may need repair.

re: Help needed on attributes

no, Magewind is right, it's to do with the armour skills not bein high enough, the level of the skill effects the ratin

for example the Curaiss of saviours hide has an AR of 300 or so, at skill level 100 for armour that will be ya armour ratin plus the other bits of armour

now if ya armour skill was at 50 with the curaiss of saviours hide then ya armour ratin would be 150 plus the other pieces of armour's ratin
