Below is a copy of my resignation:

I have decided to ask to be removed from moderator status from both the Morrowind and GOTY forums. I pay no attention to flamming but when people whom I consider to be my friends criticizes me and debates my devotion I am very saddened. After reading the thread in which this is discussed, I have been absent from the forums...trying to decided the best course of action. The forums are for the people and I am not power hungrey. I do not need to justify my love of the forum...all the work I've done should stand alone too prove my devotion. I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity...it has been a tremendous pleasure to serve NeoSeeker and I wish it could have continued. I will not allow such discussion to destroy the forum which I love and worked so hard to maaintain though. I apologize for the time I took to make my decision but it has been very hard for me to write this letter. Again I apologize about my absence from the forum but believe me when I tell you it grieves me to leave and that is why it took me so long.

I want to say "Goodbye" and tell you guys that I am very sad to leave. I have spent countless hours in this forum and I feel like I am leaving my "home". I have spent a good week tormented over what I should do but I can't stand the criticism from my friends so I see the only choice is to step down because the last thing I want is a controversy to tear the forum apart. I love it too much. Perhaps you guys will see me around..after my wounds heal...:-)

Xeno, don't leave, you are the best Mod that these Forums have had, if I have said something that has hurt you then I'm deeply sorry...at the time my disappointment of not becoming Mod for the GOTY got the best of me but apart from that thread in the GOTY forum, I have not said nothing more about it

you know I've been at your side the whole time at this forum and in my own way tried to help you...ever since I joined Neo in January you have become a very close friend, very close indeed, I just hope you reconsider but if you think this is the right decision then I respect that

Maybe she just is tricking us and is going to change her name from xenobird to something else and try to trick us. Ya, that's it, she couldn't leave, No way!!!

Xeno, I'm sorry if I've ever done anything to upset you and think you should stay. You're the best mod I've ever seen on any forum, this is one of the cleanest forums out there and it's not because of us it's because of YOU. We need a good mod here because this is an active forum and you're very knowledgeable about the game and fit the job perfectly. I hope you're reconsider because I think you're the best thing that ever happened to this forum and it won't be the same without you. Everybody wants you to stay and I'm sure you want to also. If you don't though I hope you'll still visit it quite often. This forum couldn't get a better mod. I'd like to thank you for always helping me out and everybody else not just with the game but with everything else to. On behalf of the forum I think I can say that everyone will miss you and wish you the best. Thanks for everything.

I haven't been in this forum for a long time and i feel like an idiot talking in a forum like this but everyone is right, you should stay. You can't leave. I mean come on, You created so many forums and helped us all in some way. You have been there to help us and comfort us. Need i not remind you of the time you told us that if we are having problems and need someone to talk to we could tell you. You said you were even willing to make long distance calls.

It would be like having another friend move away for all of these forum goers. It's unheard of!

You have devoted so much time to helping us and this forum stay on track. The Role Playing forum, The Forum links Directory that you played a huge part in. You have kept this forum clean. Please dont leave.

Oh... great... moderator... of morrowind. (trembles in fear) Remember all the people you had helped get through the game. Dont leave please. Who cares what SOMEONE said. you are still doing a great job. DON'T LEAVE, Please. I beg.

forget what i just said, I was hasty to accuse people, but the arguments in this forum just go to show how much we love xenobird. We are sorry, for acusing anyone. Keep rolling hard xeno. Oh great moderator.

hmmmm very true Vandal, the thing is I haven't and wasn't applying for mod to become popular or get control, I applied for 2nd mod on this forum because I knew Chris had a few problems to sort out in real life and the forum was getting attacked...the GOTY forum was a rebound and many people supported me and yes I knew I shouldn't of took my dissapointment public but 'overeager to help'...anyway I won't get back on that

all I will say is no matter what Chris chooses to do, I'll respect her and Chris I hope we can still chat outside of Neo

I mean come on you made sooo many banners and threads that really helped us. The forum links directory which helped decrease old questions comeing up again. You made the roleplaying thread which helped me tap into my creative side. And that message you posted. You were always a good mod. Don't quit now!

I understand that Shadowj. I recommended to her to get a comod as well because I know she was having problems and this way if she had things she needed to tend to, there would still be someone here she could trust to help out with things, so there would be one less thing on her mind to worry about. I'm referring to the people that were making comments about her removal or why she shouldn't be moderator.

Xeno, please don't leave. I know I haven't been here long, but long enough to know you are a great person to have here. Don't take personally what some snot nosed punk says cuase it is just words. But it is your decision, and I understand it. Everyone needs to make these decisions and they aren't easy, but we need to know our priorities. I hope you feel good about your decision
