Can you actually find out about the dissapearance of the dwarves for trebonius? If you can, does he give you another dutie? This has bugged me ever since he told me to do it and everyone (in the game) is telling me to ignore him.

yes, in the first main quest quest you get a book about the dissapearance of the dwarves

In the first part of the main Quest I got a puzzle box for the guy at the fighter's guild. What book are you talking about. And does he give you more duties afterwards?

Go and talk to the Telvanni dude in Gnisis (baldemvini or something like that) as long as you havent killed him for the imperial guard quest. He asks for 3 books. Find them for him. I cant remember what happens next. I cant even remember if this is the same quest, but it sounds good. The books are easy to find as long as you know where to look.

yes you do get a quest after this quest but this one is pointless because the time you finish running around Morrowind you don't get an answer and you don't get a reward but the quest after it you get his staff and necromancers amulet(yes trebonius is an undercover Necro)...anyway this is also pointless because you can go through the other mages' guild quests and challenge him to a duel, kill him and get the stuff or let him retire, taunt him and then kill him

I found the guy in Gnisis, but he's not asking me to find any books. Do I have to be part of house telvani, or dose he just need to like me at 100?

you get the books from Dwemer shrines, egg of time from Galeom Deus(sp?) and I can't remember the other 2, I'll find them for you

Ok so trebonius is a necro, can I just kill him show them the amulet & get away with it, or do I have to do it as a quest or something?

nope, the amulet is the reward from his 2nd quest or the reward from killing him in the arena after you challenge him to a duel for the rank arch mage, I only say he's a necro since there is a Telvanni Spy quest which leads to Trebonius' assistant, unless of course you're Trebonius' butt sniffer and call Ranis the spy which messes the whole quests up and the fact he has an amulet which plainly says Necromancers amulet

anyway if you kill him in plain view, you will be expelled and the mages will attack, if you taunt him and kill him before getting to arch mage then you screw the chance to become guildmaster of the mages guild...but if you finish skink-in-trees-shade's quests or Edwinna's quests then you can let him retire and become arch mage and then kill him or challenge him to a duel and kill him

Yous gets some cool stuff from him if you do do his quests...

on his first quest you get nothing, on his second you get his staff and amult which can be gained by the methods in my last post but yeah, for low levels the Amulet is a nice item to have, the staff is good but only if you're good with blunt weapons

Yeah... that's true... but I feel that yous should earn items... not junk run up and taunt the dude... then kill the FCKR...

I mean that's not even cool... that like a cheat to me... you should have some reprecusions to doing that...

Hmmm, I dont think its those books he needs. I think is some of the same book you have to get for edwinna. Ncunaks Fire and Faith and so on. I think there are three. Have you checked everything he has for you to choose? Maybe you need to bribe him to get his disposition up high enough? Does he have a 'dissaperance of the dwarves' choice when you are talking to him?

yes he had a Disapearance of the dwarevs choice and he told me all he knew, but my journal was not updated at all through anything that I talked with him about, and I went through all the choices.

Hmmm. He asked me to go get some books for him. Maybe it was because I was in House Telvanni, the greatest of the great houses. Maybe it does have something to do with that. Have you choosen a great house yet?
