the best house would be a stronghold because that is your own home, to get a stronghold join up with a great house and do their quests, around rank 7 or 8 they will ask you to build a stornghold, do a few quests for the stronghold builder and you will get your stronghold
the other good houses...well everyone has different tastes so technically there is no good or best house, just save the game, look at a house, kill the owner and see if you like the house...if you don't reload, if you do keep on playing also I have answered your lock spell question in the other thread, please check the FLD first ------------------- ![]() ![]()

Never had an overflow problem and i leave lots of stuff laying out in my house... i like to "interior decorate" the place with cool weapons i don't use and miscellaneous scrolls and lots and lots of books.

re: whats the best realistate |
quote King Arthas 89so do many other houses, it depends on how much stuff you are storing in there and if you are storing things in empty crates or not at all overflow loot bags appear when there is too much stuff on "display" for example, you have 30 full indoril armour sets, 10 glass sets, some ebony etc. and a jack load of swords, books and potions you put them all on display, helmets on a shelf or on the bed, swords on table or bed, books and potions in window sills and book shelfs, other things on shelves...and so on once you leave that house and re-enter, all that stuff will be shoved into an overflow loot bag, some things underneath it which you can't get back but everything else inside you can get back and some may become unlimited in the bag the size of the house may come into the equation but it all depends on how much stuff you are storing in the house also I've found with Telvanni houses are that you can get stuck in the corridors easy or someone blocks the corridor...I just "rent" many houses and stash my stuff between those houses I also use houses to store groups of stuff, such as a Balmora house for Daedric Items, another Balmora house for Ebony items, a Caldera house for Glass items etc. ------------------- ![]() ![]()
