I found this little trick over a year and a half ago.If you have Skull Crusher equip it press and hold L,R and X buttons you feather your weight 15 points and increase your attack 5 points everytime you hear it equip.You also move faster too.Has anyone else tried this already?

The infamous X+L+R trick...only can be done on the american, was taken out of the PC and european version just like many other glitches that could be manipulated

I posted this for a couple of reasons.To let other players know that it can be done and to find out if anyone else thought of doing it.As for being taken out of the P.C. version last I looked this is an XBOX forum.I'm also sure the people in Europe know it won't work there.

I was the former mod and been here 2 years, so I allowed for the PC version to be talked about in here, the PC version of this game has been dead for 2 years, btw watch who you are talking too please, I don't deserve to be talked too like a piece of trash

anyway the X+L+R trick is common and has been posted in this forum many times, you are just posting old news, sorry to break it to you

I was asking if anyone else tried this WITH SKULL CRUSHER not the L'R,X button trick itself.My characters can carry over 10,000 pounds this way.No strength enchanted items or potions needed.You don't have to use a fortify attribute skill on a weapon. Best of all you can'lose it when you run into a Bonewalker or some other nasty enemy that uses drain strength on you.I'm sorry you felt like I was talking down to you.That was not my intention Shadowj.

it can be done with any weapon that has a constant effect on it, that is what the X+L+R trick is, it can be done with bound weapons since they have the fortify skill effect on them, if any weapon has any spell effect that effects your character and it is constant effect and it is used in the X+L+R trick then it will do what you have explained

not bringing you down but all you done is done the trick with another weapon

Everytime I try the x+l+r+ trick and it doesnt work can you explain it to me cuz I wanna do it but I'm either slightly *bleep*ed and just dont understand or im not doing it right... If you could help thatd be great

ok...lets say you have your sword drawn. if you hold X and press either L or R you start to scroll thru the weapons you have in your inventory. to use the skull crusher as an example...equip it...take it out....hold both triggers then press and hold X. you should hear the "shiiing" (noise from changing weapons) really fast "shiing""shiing""shing"..........

Yeah I do that but my stats never go up. I always try it with bound dagger and bound long sword but my stats never go up.

do you have the european version or any other version other than the american version?

if so then they have taken it out and it only works in the american version

if you do have the american version then you are doing something wrong in the trick, you must be using a bound weapon or a weapon that has the effect "constant effect" fortify "skill or attribute"

if it is cast when used or cast on strike then the trick won't work

not to mention you must have the weapon equipped and out (showing on the screen) and have X+L+R all held at exactly the same time...you should hear the sound of weapons switching yet not actually sees weapons switching

if it still doesn't work after that then I don't know

I have the American X-box GotY Edition. I put it in this section cuz I felt this had nothing to do wiht the GotY edition. I'ma try it right now so h/o. No it doesn't work. oh well. I have the weapon pulled out its making the switching sound but its staying on the dagger and my skill just goes "I'ma stay here to make you look dumb"

now that makes sense, GOTY version they have made many fixes in the game, this is one of them...in other words they have taken this out the european version and GOTY version

Skull Crusher is a huge hammer found in Tel Fyr

the X+L+R trick is basically using a weapon that has a constant effect enchanted into it such as for example the bound longsword has constant effect fortify longblade 10pts

easiest weapon to do this with is the fiend katana (has the bound longsword spell effect) use that effect to call the bound longsword and have it equipped

now hold X + the left trigger and the right trigger at the same time...if you have done it right you should hear the sound of weapons switching yet should still have the bound longsword equipped

this makes the game think several bound longswords are equipped at the same time, stacking the fortify longblade effect on one another...so after 60 seconds of the bound effect your longblade might have gone up by say 1000 or something like that
