i try not to complain as much as possible but this is something that pushed me to far. immediatly after reading the name azura star on a post, i neglected to read anything else and immediatly turned on my xbox and cuaght a boat to tel branora, my small mind had convinced me it was a powerful and rare amulet or ring, upon reaching tel branora i shoved off inland looking for the statue,
20 minutes later i had had no luck and was heading home thinking 'this star must be truly great if i cant even find the starting point for this quest sudenly i heard a 'ugh!' and looked up to find 1) a cliffracer and more important 2) the shrine of azura, yay! so i killed the bird and cast levitation and made my way up. i went inside talked to the statue got the quest and so forth.nothing could sway my determination now i headed back to the docks and took a chain of ships to dagon fel or fur i cant remember right now, that took a morrowind day but when i got there i was 'delighted' to find the worst kind of weather, black clouds and rain during midnight, all mixed together equaled a constant 30% blind on self, wonderful! but i was determined, i cast a water walking spell and began searching nearby islands by starting to the north, first island, no luck next island to the west, no luck i was about to head to the far away island to the east when i noticed one final island to the west on my map, i recharged my spell prayed that island would be the one and headed off, lucky for me i noticed a small shack with one of those golden knight girl things. i saved my game, rushed in and finished her off got the signet ring and was about to alimsi out of there when i remembered i had to kill all the dedra on the island, all meaning there was more than 1, as if on cue my screen flashed a very bright red, i nearly #@%$ myself (id swear if not for the younger forum members who might read this) when i noticed i had nearly 10% health left i turned around to see my attackers, and when i did i found one dedroth and 2 hungers, but by then they all 3 had there spells in midair and i was killed (im a level 5 nord with a 1-27 dai-katana and exactly 100 health, more when this whole experiance is over) so i gathered myself together and reloaded my game this time i summomed a flame atrounoch, killed the knight girl, got el ring and prepared for my assailents they approached 1 by 1 and i used guerilla tactics to slowly finish them off, this left me with half a health tank full thinking its all over, time to get my prize, no no no that would be easy, next thing i know crack crack crack as i fall over dead i catch a glimpse of a ice atronouch and an ogrim titan (by the way who the %$#@ is running around piercing all the ogrim titans right nipple, get a real job for christ sake) i reloaded killed all the deadroth got the ring and there hides, hearts, flame salts etc. got back to tel branora (another morrowind day spent on boat) floated up to the the shrine and went in, i was exited i had to take a leak but i was holding it knowing i was going to be rewarded for the past 3 m days of torture, azura praises me gives me her star and i open my inventory, see this spiky white thing and as i put my highlighter to see what this would do once equiped, perhaps enhance my strength 3 times, or give me some new @#$# bringer spell or make me a god, something to explain why this quest was so extremly annoying and time consuming, i press Y and... its and enchantment, hmm... MOTHER#@%$#%!!!!

Ya, but i heard that it is reuseible and worth alot of money if you trap vivic.

I found Azura's Star to be extremely useful...

The fact that it's reusable is a great help when you plan to enchant something.

I think it's great, I always grab Vivec's soul and make the best weapon ever.

its reusable? that changes everything, wow dad was wrong after all, im not a failure, lol

....and it's the only soul gem that can hold Vivec and Almalexia's(game of the year only) souls.

in other words...you didn't use your brain to read up and research the quest, you didn't use your brain to scout the island first by hovering around to find what daedra are on there

and you didn't use your brain to find that Azura's Star is a reusable soul gem, that is worth alot of money, around 2mill-5mill with Vivec's soul in

btw not being offensive, just observing your 6 page essay of unneeded ranting

one question how do you reuse it like for example if i trap vivic's soul and enchant with it will i get the star back????????

Sorry, I haven't played *morrowind since last summer, but I've never tried to trap people's souls. Does Vivec's make the enchantment godly or something? And does that only apply to Vivec's soul? Thanks.

runescape, you mean Morrowind right. And you cant trap peoples souls,(Vivec is a god), only animals. Thats OK, simple mistake, there both huge and RPGs.

Well, not just animals. Any of the mobs can be trapped. You cannot trap NPC's...the people in towns, quests, etc except for Vivec...(and Almalexia).

I'm sure you can trap the Dagoth's except Dagoth Ur, and Vivec and Amalexia can be trapped too (amalexia is in GOTY)

Vivec gives 1000 charge which is 600 more than any other creature in the game, however Amalexia is 1500 or something, can't remember been too long

You went after this that early in your game!That was bold! You should have checked the FLD first. Then you would have known what you were in for. If you want to soul trap Dagoths there are 41 of them you can get. I collected everyone of them I could find and trapped them in Grand Soul gems.

use azuras star soultrap vivec with a spell kill him and if the star is free u should have vivec in it the star will be worth exactly 5million and if used in enchantment it will be worth 500 enchant space
