HI! Can anyone plz tell/explain the whole damn storyline from the begining....i mean aaaalll of it....the daedra gods, the tribunal, the war between the dwemer and the others (im not really sure anymore who was fighting) who was an ally of who? dagoth ur, the start of the empire and so on....all the way to the current situation.... i need to know this beacause i read so many books....and not even one tells the same as the other...im really confused so I thank u.....(if anyone has the time to write this)

explain it to yourself.. read all the books in the game.. i doubt anyone is gonna sit here and explain all that to you... unless someone is really bored.

long ago, a dwarf (dwemer) named Kagnerac created 3 tools which were believed to make any normal mortal into god, they were also believed to have been made to help in the war going on between the inhabitants of Morrowind, the Chimer (who are now Dunmer) and the dwarves...but something went wrong, Kagnerac and the dwarves vanished, leaving only one, Yagrum...Vivec, Amalexia and Sotha Sil learnt about these tools and created a plan to get them but two people stood in their way

Lord Nerevar Indoril, servant to the daedric goddess, Azura and Dagoth Ur...Nerevar trusted Dagoth ur and told him to protect the tools, the 3 killed Nerevar and ganged up on Dagoth ur, locking him away deep in Red Mountain making him insane...Vivec, Amalexia and Sotha Sil used the tools to make themselves man-gods (hence why Vivec has a whole city and palace)

Azura saw this and was angry, casting a curse on all Chimers, she turned them all into Dunmers (dark elves) including Vivec however since he was a man-god, it turned half of him dunmer, hence why he looks funky

she then wrote a propechy, about an outlander, coming from another land to Morrowind to fulfill the steps of her murdered servant, they would become the incarnate and finally the nerevaraine, where they would do battle with Dagoth ur to stop his plans of plaguing morrowind with a vicious blight/ash storm, along with monsters with the disease...but the previous incarnates failed.

Your character then has the chance of fulfilling the prophecy, completing the 7 trials to destroy Dagoth Ur and his chance to resurrect Alakhan

the prophecy states that this can only be done by obtaining Kagnerac's tools, using one to hit the heart of Lorkhan, once, then 5 times with the other

once this is done, peace and balance will be restored to Morrowind

By the way for ....err whoever started this thread...yes i realize this is old. anyway the reason u are so confused is because some people in morrowind know the truth and put that in books they write but the false gods of the tribunal dont want anyone to find out the WHOLE truth because it would basicaly ruin them.So theres a whole lot of people writing books about lies and truth which is why morrowind is so cool it actualy has hiddne conspiracy which u can find out.Read into the books and ask questions to the npc's u will eventualy get the truth.

I just want to say that I've been playing this game for years and I have no idea what's going on. There is way too much to read in this game, and someone who have to be a very dedicated player to read and remember all of it. I've never made much of an effort, which is probably why I'm still trying to complete the main quest after 3 years.

3 years? I have been playing about a week, and I have completed the morag tong and I'm on the 4 trial on the main quest. (I only play a couple hors a day)
