what is the best enchanted item youve ever found, put what it's called, what it does and where you found it
ill start
vampiric ring-absorb health 20-30 points for 10 seconds and absorb fatigue 20-30 points for 10 seconds on touch
i found it in ald redynia(sp?) if you have the map, its at the far west part of the long island to the left of dagon fel

im hoping this thread pumps some new blood into a good forum

Well most would say one of the tamerlic Relics, or the Profane tools, but I've got to go with the Amulet of Shadows

Chamealeon 80% for 60 sec.
With this thing my Woodelf (Who has a sneak below 25) is one heck of an Assassin.

I judge quality by how often I use it, and this is my most used item...unless you consider Demenstagmer's Ring which I always wear.
30% Resistance to fire frost and shock.

Amulet of Shadows is found north of Gnisis, near the pool where that one Chick is asking you to retrieve her ring.

D's ring (it's a pain typing that name)
is located just on the south bank of the stream south of Gnisis and alittle to the East. It's in a tomb.

i love the amulet, ive never gotten the ring

all rare items are in the FLD(forum links directory), however this sort of thing doesn't bring the forum to life...the game is over 5 years old...sometimes there is nothing you can do...trust me, I tried everything a couple years back when I was moderator but no one was interested...they either moved to other forums or left completely

also dreugh armour could be considered rare since there is only 3 pieces to it

Lets see my favorite items are Felens ebony staff great for spelcaster 1-18 blunt weapon(i have 100 in blunt) and 1-7 shock, 1-7 fire, 1-7 frost. I got the staff in tel brona the tower at the top. i levitated behind felen and stole it without him knowing. I also use mentors ring fortify intlegence and willpower by 10 constrant affect which raises my to 110 for both. Found it in a tomb north on the water side of seyda neen past the fallinf wizard. The next item would be sijorks helm or somethinglike that. I t looks lke a silver viking helm with horns heavy armor and it fortifys personality by 30pts consatnt effect. Which is good for any charcter but with 100 speechcraft like me every thinks your a legend. I t is founs in sjiorks tower (a dwenmer looking tower.) west i think of dagon fel near the vacant tower check the FDL for exact loaction.

As for my warrior i would also say mentors ring sense he does some magic, ebony long sword found in ghorak manor in caldera where creepr is you kill it of one of the orcs downstairs.

the helmet is called 'someones' mask and thx i love that item but couldnt remember were i got it

I havent done that much artifact seeking n finding, but my fav item,not weapon or armour, would probably be the kings signet ring, its got sweet enchantments, their constant, but i forget what they r, 2 i remember, are resist magicka 100% and resist being paralyzed 100%. As for weapon it would have to be either eltonbrand, keening, sunder, trueflame, or hopesfire. And for armour, it would have to be a mix of daedric, wraithguards, helm of oryen bearclaw, BOBS, and um cuirass of saviors hide.

where do you get that ring, it sounds really good

royal signet ring I believe is in the GOTY version, so is hopesfire and trueflame

in other words the original game doesn't have these in, only the GOTY version does

I like King Helseth's stuff...lot's of nice stuff on him...prepare for a fight though if you plan on getting his stuff...everyone in his throne room attacks you...

GOTY = Game of the year edition

it is both PC expansions Bloodmoon and Tribunal mixed with the original morrowind game

what Goodguy and Xion are talking about are items that are found in the expansions...the expansions themselves add new areas, Bloodmoon adds a frozen island named Solsthiem while Tribunal adds Mournhold, Amalexia's stronghold

thank you, i was starting to get confused- id also have to say that ring thats in the dome before the door when dagoth ur dissapeas for the first part of the fight, thats pretty good

where do you get Goldbrand- what does it do?

you get Goldbrand by completing a quest for the shrine of Boethiah...the shrine can be found underwater west from Hla'Oad, can't miss it, huge broken statue under the water

he will ask you to build him a new shrine at Khartag Point (north of gnsis)...speak to the sculpter in Ghorak Manor, Caldera (I think he is the orc on top level on his own where the orcish armour is found)...he will ask you for 2000 gold and a book that can be found in Jobasha's rare book shop in Vivec

once you get him the stuff he will start work, I think it takes 45 days so sleep until you get a journal entry and follow the journal instructions...eventually the shrine will be completed, now visit the new shrine and talk to Boethiah, he will give you goldbrand
