hey everybody, i have the magic long blade Chrysamere, but i was wondering if that is the best long blade in the game, if not, wat is and where is it?

Personally, I say the goldbrand( gotten from beating boethiah's quest)(easy) is the best one handed long blade. For two-handed I go for the daedric crescent for its enchantment or cryshamere for damage.

Eltonbrand...the transformed version of Goldbrand is the best my friend...problem is you must be a vampire, already have goldbrand and once you do Sirlonwe's misc vamp quest you need exactly 11711 gold within your inventory

I don't understand why the created such a moronically precise sequence to get a weapon in the Game. You cannot accomplish that unless you find out how to from outside sources. That's why I've never gotten Eltonbrand, I don't like the way the makers did that.

By the by, How in the world did someone find that piece of information out? The odds of it happening randomly has to be in the trillions.

it is an easter egg...in other words Elton Brand...the basketball player

his birth date is something like 11/11/1971 (don't know if that is correct) hence 11711

easter eggs sometimes can be spotted when playing, like there are notes relating to Indiana Jones...others like Eltonbrand I'm guessing are actually someone from Beth Soft telling a website or a magazine as a rumour

in other words unless you know how to test games which sounds easy but it isn't then a normal player won't find out normally...however some things can be accidently found such as the alchemy trick

soultrap glitch would more likely be an accident with an experiment where someone would try placing soultrap on a spell and finding out it glitches

or

again an inside job where someone from Beth Soft places it somewhere on the internet

Anyway, I just found that Liar Guy on the island. Multiplayer, horses, dragons, liches...nudity. That was obviously someone at Bethesda having fun.

i have quite a strong sword its a custom made sword. its called sword of the dark lord, its a dardric claymore with 50-100 lightning damage. quite stronge

well i think truflem is better than hopesfire but thats just me.

There is no 'best' longsword. Each has its effecs according to what you are doing, or plan to do.
