re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

you have equipped the sword called Fury...it damages all armour skills constantly

only way to get them back to normal is by training them again

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

nope that is the problem with Fury

Imperial altars only restore attributes...not skills

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

Those don't restore Skills, only Attributes. In this Version of the Game there is supposedly a way to un-do Fury, but it's complicated and quite honestly more of a glitch than anything.
In the PC version and (I think) the GOTYE the makers changed the sword so that it only Drains the Skills and not Damages them, also they modified the Altars so that they restore Skills as well as Attributes, but alas that is those versions not this one.

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

indeed they switched the fury to drain skills due to the amount of complaints and annoyance, so the PC GOTY users don't have to worry about Fury

however Xbox users for both versions and PC original morrowind users still have to be careful

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

Eh...Just a question about Fury...I've yet to find it, and I was just wondering what it's attack strengths are? A lot of people seem to screw themselves up by equipping it, so it must be decent...

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

even if it is decent it isn't worth using due to the fact you lose all levels in all armour skills while it is equipped meaning you can very much be killed in a matter of seconds

people "accidently" equip it...not because it's decent but because they keep it in their inventory and use the "quick equip" (left and right triggers while holding X)...since the effect is constant effect as soon as Fury is equipped it drains (PC) or damages (Xbox) your armour skills

Fury Stats:

Two Handed Silver Claymore
Weight: 21.60
health: 1260
value: 3200 (reason why people have it in their invent)
enchantment: 56
chop - Min: 1 Max: 27
slash - Min 1 Max: 23
thrust - Min: 1 Max: 16

Enchantment Effects (Wrath_en):

constant effect

Blind 20pts
Drain heavy armour 20pts
Drain medium armour 20pts
Drain light armour 20pts
Drain unarmoured 20pts
Fortify Attack 20pts

enchantment maybe different on xbox...well for starters change drain to damage for the xbox version

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

I'd just have that as a collectors item, or sell it to Creeper...But yeah, I can see how you could accidentally switch to Fury like that...

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

I just happened to come across the sword today. 3200 is not enough gold for me to risk accidentally equipping it, so I just left it alone. There's already enough loot in the place anyway, with glass armour and ebony weapons. So what's the point?

re: OHHHH NOOOO!!!

Now that I think about it, I would probably leave it alone, too...It has nothing on a plain ol' Daedric Longsword, anyway.
