You've been attacked with a spell that drain strength. You either need to use a Restore Strength potion or drop some stuff and head to a Imperial Cult Altar to Restore Attributes.

You have 2 other options. But they are out of the bounds of conventional gameplay. You can either set your strength to its original state through your console. (player->setstrength #) or you could teach yourself teh restore strength spell through the console. (player->addspell "restore strength")

Don't forget he might have the Xbox version. Whta you do is drop any usless stuff in your inventory untill you are not over encumbered. then go buy a potion or spell that restores your strength. alternatlvly you do just go to an imperial shrine. As the guy above me said.

Either buy or make a restore strength potion, or use a restore strength spell. If I remember correctly, you can make a restore strength potion with Gold Kanet and Scamp skin. You'll need a lot of those potions as you progress through this game...

just much easier to visit an imperial altar which are located in Fort Moonmoth, Fort Buckmoth, Ald-Ruhn mages guild, Wolverine Hall (imperial shrine)...Ebonheart and several other places that I can't think of right now
just drop your stuff and remember where you have left it...get to one of those places and make sure you pick up some restore strength potions on your way...go back to the place you dropped your stuff and voila ------------------- ![]() ![]()

This can be frustrating early in the game...
Just some more tips to hopefully let you avoid now and later. If you have Divine Intervention or Almsivi Intervention it makes things a lot easier. Also if you have Mark & Recall you could mark your spot before you leave so that you could pick up where you left off. If you can warp away with a spell or scroll then keep your equipment on so then you can dump it in fron of the alter building or temple, easier to find and you don't leave yourself vulnerable tracking it down again. That being said the first time it happens to you probably will not be prepared. Perhaps the best advice is save before you enter a tomb or new area... save often. Just don't over-write your saves (read the glitch/error FAQ people) ------------------- "Pain is candy for the focused mind."--Bobby Hobbes "Murder is a crime... unless your a corporation."--Me
