My friend was telling me about FFXIII being scaled down on the 360 version. I was wondering if this was true. Will it be cut out on both platforms or only the 360? Thank you.

Thank you Tenken, now I can seriously burn my friend who was going on and on about how it is better on the PS3.

If it spans multiple discs, which it likely will, then yes it would be better on the PS3. However with HD-Installs coming, that eliminates that problem.

Sorry for going a bit off-topic here, but about how much of your HD would be taken up by a game install like this? Cause I don't think a 20 Gig HD (don't laugh XD) is gonna handle an over 20Gig game xD.

At the most 50 gigs. That is the max capacity for the PS3 compatible Blu Rays.

So if you get a 60 gig system, you would probably have just enough space to install the game.

DBZ, from what little they have announced on the 360 pre-install feature, it looks like you do not have to install the entire game onto the hard drive, or if you do, there's some decent compression going on. However, it would still probably be sensible to own one of the larger hard drives.

I lol at the fact that Square Enix don't even have a 360 development kit yet. You'd think they'd want to check it out before they decide to port a game to the console...

Of course, you don't know that for sure though. As with most ports, something could go wrong and it may not come out as expected. You'll just have to wait and see.

They already made many games on the 360 already. What are you talking about?

Mana is referring to the recent announcement at SE's party. I guess they need to receive a kit separately for each game they are developing.
