So this is the code name Rapture project. I still don't understand why they appended a proper title number to the rear end of the game, as frankly the main series needs not another online.
I don't, however, believe in the exclusivity. MMORPGs always play better on a PC, so I would assume they may change their mind about that to target a wider audience. It would be the most profitable thing to do. ------------------- I want your love. And I want your revenge

Rapture sounds pretty accurate, considering half the fanbase is reliving the FFXI announcement again in all their mass fury.

Hopefully Japan won't get it a year before everyone else so that they can camp the spawn spots for mobs, and be high levelled as opposed to the rest of the world, when they start.
I think the joy of an MMORPG, is discovering something new, before other people do - and this simply can not be done when you have overpowered characters running around like you do in Final Fantasy XI. For one, people that level will not party with new starters - and being new to the game you tend to get boycotted. However, if you start at the same time as everyone else - everyone is new at the same time. Global release, Square-Enix! Like you did with The Last Remnant!! ------------------- I want your love. It's not exclusive, maybe for consoles, but I'm sure it's only a timed exclusive for consoles. I think they should have named it "Final Fantasy Rapture" and not 14. It's stupid and makes no sense to give it a number title. Either way, not much into this game. While I thought XI was alright, not enough to spend 13 dollars per month(or year forgot).

The only reason why it is called Final Fantasy XIV is to get more sales. It would get less if it was called Rapture and it would get less if it was called Final Fantasy Rapture...

If it's anything like FFXI, then it is still a Final Fantasy. It will have all the elements needed to be a Final Fantasy. And then everyone gets to share the fact that it is still a Final Fantasy and Humes, Elvaans, Mithras and even Galkas (You'll love them one day, Astian) can hold hands and skip off into the magical sunset of Eorzea.[color=#eef0f9][size=1]

Only people who'll attract to it is if their ignorant on the game and thinks it's a offline game, not a MMO. Why I thought FF11 name was dumb.
