Have to agree with that, heck they're still doing some pimping to Dissidia over in Japan and that game is like a year old.

I hope they surprise us with a new trailer or gameplay footage though. I want to see some progress on Agito and the 3rd Birthday. Haven't heard anything about those two since the private party last year.

- Window idea was brought up because they wanted it to be a way to understand what your other party members are doing on their own
- Aiming for the type of buddy A.I. such as in western FPSs, where they act on their own but you get the feeling that they're teammates working in unison with you.
- All clothing is asymmetrical
- Noct doesn't wear a necklace or earrings, the ring he wears on his right hand (which is story related) is his only accessory.
- The ring is important, so on his left hand he wears an open fingered glove.
- Noct maybe rides a bike.
- In order to make it difficult to tell the difference between pre-rendered CG and real-time footage, they pay attention to the most minute details down to the wrinkles in boots.
- Stuff that wasn't in the test will be revealed bit by bit next year, perhaps as early as E3

I'm really quite disappointed at how far they are with this game. They've been developing it for quite some time, almost as long as FFXIII, yet they're still testing gameplay elements and designs at this point.

I suppose we'll be seeing a release at the end of this generation then?

People also forget that when FFXIII and Versus were announced, Square Enix didn't have a working engine to develop the games on.

I'm betting that at least a few months, if not years, were devoted to simply developing the engine and it would explain why we got the same rehashed CG concept trailers for so long.

I'm betting that Versus' development will be a LOT faster than most people seem to be anticipating.

Let's not forget either, Nomura was heavily involved with FF13 development as was most of the Versus team. By allocating their time with that title(along with some others like birth by sleep), they now know alot about the engine and the PS3 where development will be quicker as Cruxis stated. There's benefits for focusing on one title being used on a brand new hardware and engine then have 2 separate teams working on different titles, which the versus team will probably won't know how to make the game.

I think this was for the best imo. FF13 is being released in a month(well it's practically november so i'm rounding off(but still coming in December)). Why anyone who want versus information during the last stages of FF13 which is the BIG game coming very soon obviously doesn't realize how pointless it is.

To be honest, I like the fact we got little info on Versus. It means they're focusing their efforts in making FF13 really good. Also making sure they get BBS and other titles be good too. And with the experience with FF13, the versus team knows ALOT of knowledge on the PS3(plus game engine) and testing the waters at least right now what can and cannot be done. In the end, it'll just make versus a much better experience compared if they did it the other way working on it with little to no experience with engine and PS3 hardware.

Btw, I heard 358/2 days is very awesome. Well, according to Sakura and my sister(she played it at the San Diego Comic Con).
Anyone here played it yet?

I've played it and I think it's great. The story is really good and it gets really sad at the ending. I couldn't help shedding a few tears, and I'm not the type that sheds tears haha.

The graphics are so so, but for a DS game their top notch. And gameplay is fun and action packed and the combos are different for every keyblade. You probably know this already but there's also the option of selecting other characters in "Mission mode".

Seems similar, well the character selection, to Birth by Sleep. Nomura stated you choose to either play as Aqua, Ven or Terra and each one has their own story to the game which sounds cool. Wish it was out. Need another solid PSP game.
