	so i was trying to get the rare horses and i was reading the first reply but how do u level up the horses u mean just get them to lvl 5 then it will change the name automatically or what? if some1 could reply thanks.

Ah sorry for the late reply, but yes, once you get one of the horses mentioned in the first post, train it to level 5 by simply going through levels and giving them 100+ kills, and once it reaches level 5, it's title will change to ____ king (i.e. Red Hare King, Ebon King, etc..) -------------------

	I just wanted to ask how all of this works for an Xbox 360 user, do I just follow the same instuctions or are they completely differnt. You can't follow these instructions on the X360. These tips/tricks will ONLY work on the PS3. 	I have it for Ps3 and I have all the Horse Kings Without the Time Thingy...Here's how... Shadow Runner:First you do the battle of Chang Ban and get the box on wei side(Just keep following the path your person starts on and cross the bridge)about 2 or 3 times and you will eventually recieve a really really dark Horse...It's most likely Shadow Runner... Hex Mark:Yellow Turban Rebellion,First you kill about 200 ppl...then you get the Box..(Up in the lower left base)..without killing anybody get to Zhang Jiao..(Then you can kill anybody)...and defeat him in about 5 minutes into the level...

	I somehow can't get any of the horses, even though I'm following everything to the letter. Yuan Shao - lvl 50 Liu Bei - lvl 50 2 horses with Find Saddle, I do what is required (targets, change date). I do it all, quickly. Yet nothing, I just get terrible, or, at best, mediocre horses. No consider/heavenly. I did get a godly horse on Guan Du (I was going for Ginger Striker/Red Hare), but that was after I killed one of the two guys for Target 1 and after picking up a Saddle from a boss. 	I've got a Dapple King Horse, is that anything special? And please don't tell me that the Ginger Striker becomes Red Hare, because i got that horse and discarded it because it said it only had 'His Eyes Miss Nothing And His Physique Harbors Untold Power' mediocre really, other than that, all my horses say either 'View The World In Clarity' or 'His Eyes Consider The World' and 'Heavenly Physique' or 'Harbors Untold Power' ------------------- credit to dwandswforlife

So if you got rid of him prematurely, then that's why you didn't get Red Hare. I believe the same goes to the post above. You tried for Red Hare, but I believe you only tried once, and got Dapple King. You need to go through that level again with Ginger Striker in your inventory to get Red Hare (you can keep Dapple King in your inventory if you want, I did though I haven't actually leveled it yet... sort of stopped playing when I got another game). -------------------

	Once you have Ginger Striker, do the EXACT same thing you did to get Ginger Striker. This time Red Hare will show up. At this point you may want to get rid of Ginger Striker. As for how to get the other horses, they're all explained in mine and (mostly) BrokenKnights vFAQ. That page in particular tells you about Shadow King, just look on the right to see which horse you want and read up about them. -------------------

	Great guide BK and Krunal. Too bad the horse times do NOT apply to the PS2 version. I gave them all a few tries each and none yield the results! It appears the only way to get rare horses is to do some tedious horse-grinding at the mercy of luck! Character unlocking and insane weapons trick still works though. I got Liu Bei to fly through Hei Fei Castle in a couple of minutes in Chaos mode to earn level one characters like Cao Ren weapons with 92-100 attack strength! However, the pot doesn't have an elixer, just a 100 HP meat. So Renbu will have to be built the old fashioned way... ------------------- I met my nemesis.
