DON'T START AS XIAHOU DUN!!

It will ruin your experince.

Xiahou Dun is AWFUL. I've been playing as him all day and thought the game sucked. However, plaign as everyone else is tons of fun. It's a much better game. You need to utilize grapples, rolls, juggling, everything. Its great

Wu - the faster character are better. I'd say start with Lu Xun to get a feel for the game

Yeah, to everyone, I'd suggest playing as a character that doesn't start off at Huo Lao Gate... super annoying

I killed Lu Bu and Zhang Fei at those levels - hence why it was annoying

I hate what they've done with the story. That's the biggest down side for me. It's crap..

DW3 archers are back... the stun isnt as bad but the damage is worse.

Don't worry you'll be pleased with Sima Yi. He's a beast excep for his special..

The only story I've liked so far is Sima Yi's. Everything is utter crap. They take like one emotion stick it on a character and just beat that same damn gong over and over. You have no idea what's happening in the "story" because there isn't one. You beat He Fei with Zhang Liao and he talks about what a warrior shoudl do. You beat Chi Bi he talks about what a warrior shoudl do. You beat the musou and he says he is a warrior now.

And Cao Cao's "motives" are just plain silly. I just skipped all of Xiahou Dun's scenes becasue all they were was a differnt Wei cahracter asking if he understood Cao Cao and when you beat it he asks Cao Cao how to understand him.

Superspeed is the greatest thing ever. You're obviously using it wrong. I forget which level it was, but Sun Quan as on a boat with like 8 other generals and I killed them all with ONE of Zhang Liao' Superspeeds, and his isn't even good.

Gan Ning with superspeed rapes. Like its the craziest thing I've ever seen. Generals fall in a matter of seconds.

And its Tome not Tomb...

I agree with Shadow. The old Dyansty Warriors games were just a mad rush to your best charge attack. On this one you actually need to interupt your Renbu at different locations to get the full use out of your Square Chain. And charge have to be used strategically to break block - which generals do a whole lot more of.
