Liu Bei, however, started with almost nothing (even though he was a relative to the former emperor. He got the people to love him and did so much even though Shu was the smallest of the three, his only flaw was Yi Ling.

Best ruler? I think it would have be Liu Bei because of his love and respect for the people. Cao Cao might have been a good general and tactician, but he was cruel and ruthless. Sun Quan was pretty good, but achieved comparatively little to the other two in terms of military success and gaining new territory.

Liu Bei was always my favorite leader of the three, but I still want the old Liu Bei back not the DW6.

I Believe Lord Liu Bei Would Have Made A Great Ruler Of All China. Liu Bei Was a Family Member Of The Han Royal Family . Liu Bei Fought For The Genuine Kindess Of The People. And Look At All The Peasents Who Helped Lord Liu BEcause He Helped Them. Lord Cao Cao Wasnt Really as Kind As Liu More Of A I want The Capital More Than You Guy. Lord Sun Quan Decided To Do O I Want To Make The Sun Clan Famous

Better ruler, I would have to say Cao Cao. I disagree when people say he wasn't kind. History shows he was a kind ruler, ruthless to his enemies, yes, but kind to the people he ruled. I also think he would make a better ruler because of his military skills which would deter other empires from attacking his land (because if enemy rulers attacked, they would cause pain and suffering to the people in the land being attacked) because they fear him.

So from a peasant standpoint, I would want Cao Cao to be my ruler because he brings more stability because others fear him enough that they are less likely to attack his land.

Not quite true. One main knock against him was that he was not sufficiently...practical for a leader at his level. He lost Jingzhou to Cao Cao because he wouldn't displace Liu Biao's children, for instance. Zhuge Liang helped a great deal with getting Liu Bei educated on realpolitik, but before him, Liu Bei's faction was getting driven from pillar to post, never quite able to establish a foothold for themselves.
