Assassins Creed online coop mode should let 2 players play together online on the same console with a friend free roaming.

it is a online 2 player coop,type in Assassins Creed on neoseeker.com in click on the Assassins Creed game case in look to your right in click on the back case of Assassins Creed in it is going to say 2 player coop online

I think it should be like 4 players, split into 2 teams, and each team would race to hunt down the same guy, whoever kills the target first wins

Not every game has to have some kind of online play. Some games just need to stay one player.

Exactly, when I get this game, I doubt I will bother with co-op. Anyway, with all the work they've put into single-player, the online can't be too good...

Indeed it does say 2 Player Co-op on the back. But how would it work?

I doubt it. It would probably be just a second assassin. I can't see any other ways it would work.
