What do want improved in Armored Core 4?
Either in an update or for the next Armored Core

Weapons arm's aim not messing up and un-locking when on water and in air.

Back weapons having more firepower than hand-held ones, at the moment back weapons aren't needed.

Auto-firing missile counter-measures.

Well everyone seems a bit shy so I'll add some stuff,

-More missions

-more multiplayer modes eg Defend the Convoy, Capture the flag

-more variety in the environments

things i'd like to see in AC4:

-more parts
-the kawasara
-more story depth (emails, news broadcast, reports, etc)

Other then that, the jury is still out on AC4. I've just started on the hard missions, and i like how they've actually changed the mission parameters for the various missions, makes things more lively. I think my only real complaint about AC4 atm, the stabilizer system which i am having problems trying to make work.

They have the karasawa, called the Canopus. They kept the moonlights name, but changed the Sawa into a doobie gun.

The Karasawa is in the game? I must have missed it...

Anyways, what I would like to see.

Back mounted weapons that don't suck.
Back mounted machine/gattling guns.
More than 10 torso's.
Quad legs that actually walk instead to hover/slide (They have joints for Gods sakes!)
MORE MISSIONS!

AND!

Dead thread, but in the new game Armored Core for Answer they have all of those you're asking for.

I know this thread is pretty much dead, but I just got this game 2 days ago...moneys a bit tight for me, and it was only recently that I found a used copy for under $45.00

I only post for games I've actually got, so...yeah, I'll be around here for about a month or so. By then I'll have Answer.

As for what you said, they actually brought back Hustler 1?!

I know that they said in the storyline that Ultimate Ninball was a pulverizer, but after playing this game I think he was a Next. Most of his special abilities are the same as theirs....though I dont know if their is a transformation mecanizem in Answer, it would be cool to have though.

Great, now I feel bad about not saving a little longer to get the game.

I should of been more specific no, Nineball isn't in AC4, It's more a bad companies this time, then a single AC. In For Answer White Glint has a unique one of a kind AC you can get though thats pretty cool.

Well, I got For Answer, and I must say its an improvement over AC 4 big time. The controls are a bit different though so it took me a few hours to get used to, esp the V.O.B. I was a little sad that it only took me 4 hours to go through the arena...with the indepentent's starting NEXT, but I guess I'm just still in the grouve from AC4, the fact that I got to start with the mech that I pretty much had to work like a dog to get and used almost exclusivly for AC4 helped.

I guess I'll be on the For Answer forum from now on eh?

Oh, one question, about White Glint. Why do they have SHE in the bio, but say HE in the movie? Also, why did the character from AC4 take on that title? I thought that was Josh O'Brians name? (P.S. How far do you have to go to get White Glints parts? I got the scamatic already from the arena)

White Glint is supposed to be you from AC4. I think Joshua from AC4 attacks you at the end of the last mission on hard difficulty. The lady talking in the White Glint mission is his operator, White Glint himself never talks, thats why the pilot is listed as Unknown. It's simply a mistranslation that it's listed as a she. I think once you do the Orca ending you get White Glint's frame parts.

Ah, that makes sense. I still dont get why Americans mistraslate japanese honorifics so often. I mean, I learned the stupid things just by reading Shonan jump, and I dont get them wrong. Someone thats being paid should be able to do so.

As for getting the White Glint parts, I guess I've got some work to do. Esp since you cant get the Orca ending till after you beat the game at least once.

Its funny, someone on another site described the 3 endings in a very...unique way.

Yeah, I looked up endings just to figure out what he meant, and uhh...yeah, I can see his point.

I just wish there was some way to save Glint since he was, like, you know, YOU in the previous game. But we cant all get what we want. Over all, I have been very pleased with the game so far. You were right of course, the part selection is 10X AC4's and your options are nigh unlimited.

I was a bit peeved that the Independent suit is called 'out dated' since it was my best suit in AC4, but I got over that after cleaning out the arena with it.

Yeah, I went with Omer since they gave you a new type of AC from the start. Though the Aliyah is a very cool looking AC.

The Aliyah's not just cool looking, the things got great PA, mobility, and all around is a good NEXT. It just needs a bit of tinkering to work better. (Namly replace all the boosters, generater and FCS)

I just completed the game...well sort of. I got all three endings and beat all the missions on normal, along with 33 of them on hard. Grad total I got 41 out of 84 S ranks with the rest all being A's with 2 B's and 3 D's. I cant really see how to get an S rank on some of the missions, especially the one where you have to fight 5 NEXT's at once. Old King is the worst support I've ever had in ANY game that I've ever played!

As for White Glint, I got the suit. It's unlocked after the first time you do the 'Deffend Line Ark' mission. I like it for the most part, the only complants I've got for it is being unable to use shoulder mounts (PA molders) and that the arm's have rotten stats. Aside from that, it rocks.
