Oh yeah sorry I was thinking the crosshair thing was total points. So to make sure I have this cleared up, what does the crosshair, pentagon, circle with the slash in the middle, and skull mean?

Perfect, thanks. If in body count, a kill gets you one point, how come there is usually more mission points than kills?

Right when you start out, you get 1 kill point and one mission point for a kill in body count. After you unlock the body count medal, you get 1 kill point and 2 mission points for a kill in body count. So the overall point value for 1 kill is 3 if you have the medal, which you probably do.

...lol, I was SURE I'd get a 3% medal once I powered up the game on Monday... I played usual amounts durring the week, and played Saturdays ASS off becasue it was raining and cold out..
(Anyone else frustrated with these 5min rounds??.. as soon as I get strategy going, the mission is over! ..anyways).
Finally found a 10min round game, and was racking in like 100-200 points per game.. for HOURS. I was freakn on FIRE!. ..even skooling squad/team, home base rushers like they were scrubs..

Only 6%

Damn- so I had a thought.
IF I had gotten within the top 5%; of course there is no medal for that... and would not receive one. Does the top 6% cover 4-6%?

Yeah, it covers 4-6%. And if you're looking to get a 3 or 1 percent ribbon, I would suggest playing nothing but body count or capture and hold, because of the added points you get for kill and the fact that everybody on the team can get points at one time, not just the one guy carrying the speaker.

I think that the screen where you pick which lobby to go into should be more detailed, with match time and a few other things on it. It's annoying, as you said to join a match finding that it's too long (or too short).

Wow, I just recently started playing Killzone 2 Multiplayer again and I've noticed that most the time I'm playing now there's always people using glitches to shoot through walls at base camps (ISA Base camp on Blood Gracht anyone?). I really enjoyed the multiplayer but this just really seems to spoil the online for me now.
