Depends on what server your in. I'm fairly certain that some have 5 minute rounds whilst others have 10 minutes and so on. I personally find the length of time quite useful, expect on search and destroy when I'm attacking as it's almost impossible to win (unless your team's strong).
In respect to the shotgun, I've got a mixed view. It seems fairly erratic in it's shots to kill. I've not unlocked it yet but I managed to use it on one level (picking it up) and found it pretty rubbish. However, a number of times I've been devastated in one shot with it by an opponent. I'll probably have a better view once I've actually unlocked it. ------------------- ![]() I are serious cat. This are serious post. | |

Unlocked the medic badge last night as well as the badge for having 2 grenades.
Only drawback with Medic is the charge time for the ray gun which means you can't go around healing everyone at the same time. Still not seen any Saboteurs or Scouts yet online. | |

In reference to the shotgun, and all guns in fact. Am i correct in saying that all headshots i 1 hit kills. This maybe why the shot gun is so effective as anytime ive been devastated by it, it was from close range and it was a headshot. Also anyone else still have trouble with the sensitivity and finding that it takes a while too kill someone unless you get a headshot. Also from long distances it seems like it take a while for the shots to register. Now i havent experienced lag, but some long distance shots dont register even though i know for a fact i hit, espeically headshots.

Shotguns in COD were balanced i'd say, because they were good damage-wise yet they were shit to use because of the extremely short range.

The shotguns in single-player are win - they blow heads off in a pretty brutal fashion at close range!
Got a proper, (relatively) non-laggy multiplayer game today. Absolutely fantastic - the transition between the different game types are seemless, and the maps are superb. I finished second in the game as well. ------------------- ![]() EXCLUSIVELY on Playstation 3! | |

One thing I like is the fun you can have with grenades online. The way the bounce off everything like tennis balls makes it so unpredictable and hard to avoid.
Also beginining to notice some patterns. ISA always seem to win on both Radec and Depot maps. Played these maps quite a bit and every time I have been a Helghan and on the losing team. I just feel they have a poor start off point on both. Either that or the teams I was in were useless. | |

Well in the last game I played, I was on the Helghan team and we had a definite height advantage - the ISA had a good position for defending a large road, but it only took a minute for us to reach the top of a building and pick them off.

Ive noticed that aswell, there are some maps which starts you off in a superior position than others. None the less its still brilliant online.

At the moment there is definite inbalance on some maps for different factions. Once the badges and classes are unlcoked and everyone knows each map it should be better balanced I reckon.

So for sure there is not offline split screen? Like in Killzone. Bc man me and my friends we would have so much fun with Killzone, any game that has bots plus splitscreen is hella fun! That's why TimeSplitters 2 was a good game! Lol sorry I just I throw that in there.

How well made are the maps - for instance can you enter a lot of the buildings/reach the roof of any buildings and are there are awesome sniping points?
